@@steviewondek That's not really true though. We saw a lot of violence from the left directed at people they perceived (rightly or wrongly) to be opponents. Both groups are divorced from reality, I think 45 supporters are further removed from reality. It's really important we don't pretend that our side is lily white and without sin. One thing I do like about this is "antivaxx" is no longer a leftie thing. I think it's probably fair to say the "left" ignores some science around race and criminality because it's inconvenient and acknowledging it can give ammunition to genuine bigots. And they ignore inconvenient science around trans issues. I can think of a dozen or more cases where the leftist viewpoint is not well supported by science. But the righties seem like they're just against the concept of science (and maybe reality) itself. Climate chance, vaccine safety/efficacy, election integrity, and on and on. They distrust every expert who says things they don't like, and will credulously believe anybody (regardless of experience or credentials) who agrees with the things they believe.
