I don’t understand what everyone means by saying Carr would of won the game. He got the ball on the GB 35 for his first and only TD. The only other saints TD came from a punt return. 4&2 packers turnover the ball and give it to the saints on the 50 then the packers get an 15 yard unsportsmanlike penalty. So carr literally started the drive on the Packers 35. I don’t see where Carr was a stud in the game. Lol 😂

It should be fun watching him do it but it is still very early . Remember REX GROSSMAN . Buy mid season people were calling him a possible MVP candidate . By the Super Bowl the world was wondering how the Bears could possible win a super bowl with such a bad QB and they were already talking about the draft of his replacement the following draft. Things look best right up until the defenses get some film to watch. We should watch and see before we say things like this.

You'll see this celebration a lot. The 'heart' sign means LOVE. It's not flashy, but it just might be more powerful than any endzone dance. GPG. You don't have to turn your head to the ball as long as you avoid contact with the receiver. When beaten, a lot of defenders look at the receiver's eyes or hands and never look back for the ball. If it's close, it probably won't get called. The dropped/stripped catch by Reed in the endzone is a perfect example. However, you just can't run through the person attempting the catch, even if he slows down to come back to the ball. You've got a sweet channel. I'll be back. The defensive monster you saw was Rashan Gary. Their pass rush is real. If they could only stop the run. The fans are a class act and Jimmy Graham used to be a Packer. They let him do the leap. The fans booed the Packers at half time, but they were just boos of disappontment and not angry boos. They played this game with literally half of their salary out of the lineup. The future is bright.

I couldn't disagree with this analysis more. Carr had 4 drives and only 2 were in Packer Territory one of them with short field advantage putting up 10 points. Winston had 5 drives and 2 of them were in Packer territory getting 3 points would have been 6 if not for a missed field goal. Both Saints QB's are trash.

the Packers shut that shit down . They tried to run with Taysom and others in the 2nd and they rarely had anywhere to go . They only accounted for like 50 yards of the team's offense. The Packers shut them down .which put them in 3rd and long situations through the whole 2nd half .

@@jesusoftheapes they ran the ball 9 times out of the 30 plays that were called in the second half. 2 of them were called back for holding calls. That's a 33.3% rushing rate up 17 points. If u don't wanna include the penalty plays its 7 times out of 28 plays which is 25% rushing rate up 17 points. It wasn't like they were running the ball terribly they averaged 4 yards/carry which is pretty good in the nfl. Along with the fact the packers have been pretty bad in the run d game it would've been more if they ran the ball more than 30% of the time in that second half. Plus they could've played some end around/jet sweep/toss type playsto get around the front 7 if it was that much of a problem and have a hb on a corner 1 v 1 without jaire in the game

You cannot blindly cover the WR because that would be cheating . You MUST NEVER impede the WR from completing his route UNLESS you are PLAYING THE BALL . So if you do not turn your head around and make contact with the WR or stop him from getting to his route without playing the ball you are INTERFERING with the WR as defended by the rule . You not agreeing with a bad call is one thing but denying the point of the rule entirely as some kind of bad rule is a bad football know. Faceguarding is not covering the ball but covering the route/player and without regard for the ball that is the exact reason for the rule. It is cheating . You are not playing the blocker as a defender . You are trying to get past the defender to get to the man with the ball. Same concept . You cannot tackle a Running back every play because he might touch the ball . Same concept. The rule you say you do not like is one of the most basic rules in football that in part form the sport itself. That is not only basic football IQ stuff but the stuff all watchers of the sport should respect about the game .

At one point the packers had more penalty yards then they yards with dark car. He only scored one touchdown and that was because of a flag that moved them up field. They where having some success but not very much. The punt return never should’ve happen to if they call the clear pi latt. Saints secondary was getting away with terrible holds and pis the whole game till the end. And they still couldn’t stop a new starting qb with half his Offense missing.

Injuries happen. Packers didn't have Jones or Watson for the entire game. When Carr got hurt, Saints were up 17-0. Isn't the Saints defense suppose to be their strength? Packers scored 18 pts in the fourth qtr against a pretty good Saints defense, and Carr doesn't play defense.
