Though I am on the Malik vs his old team revenge game bandwagon. If Love plays it's only because the medical staff doesn't have much concern about reinjury neither should us fans. Our medical staff is historically super precautionary. So very rarely would they clear a guy without him being as close to 100% as you can get.

My hot take is that even if Love is 80-85% and can play they should go with Willis because this week he gives them the best chance to win. He knows the Titans and he understands their defense and it wouldn't hurt anything to give Love and extra week of rest and the Packers are better than Tennessee even with Malik.

Jordan Love returned to practice 12 days after suffering a left knee injury in the season opener. This opens the door for a possible return on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans. Jordan Love missed only 1 game, the Green Bay Packers win over the Indianapolis Colts despite earlier reports suggesting that he could be sidelined for up to a month due to an MCL sprain. According to a report from ESPN, Jordan Love has a good chance to return for next week’s game against the Minnesota Vikings if he doesn’t play this Sunday. On Wednesday, Jordan Love wore a protective knee brace covered by a sleeve and was a limited participant in practice. Matt Lafleur didn’t provide specific details whether Jordan Love took part in all drills or just a few with limited reps. Jordan Love still needs medical clearance and must be able to move well enough to protect himself from further injury. Jordan Love acknowledged that practice doesn’t fully prepare you for real game situations. Matt Lafluer is preparing both quarterbacks for Sunday. Malik Willis played conservatively against the Indianapolis Colts, with the Green Bay Packers throwing only 14 passes and running the ball 53 times. At this point, it’s actually probably on Jordan to play. Is he comfortable enough and what percent is he at to be effective compared to his normal self. Guys play with this injury all the time with minimal to no time missed and there’s a big shot he’s cleared medically.
