@@kurtwicklund8901 footwork in practice and in a live game are two completely different things. You can’t count all those years on bench as true years to polish his footwork for playing in live games. When things are going so fast in a live game it’s easy to revert to old bad habits. I'm a Packers fan so take this with a grain of salt but I will forever live with some of his chaotic throws such as the one to Jayden Reed in this game, and the other insane throws like the one to Romeo Doubs last season against the Chiefs where it was 4th and 1 and he just chucked that shit up for an insane completion. It's just exciting and more often than not, it is what it is. It's more enjoyable to me to watch these types of games than it was to watch Aaron Rodgers towards the tail end of his tenure. I just started getting so used to what would happen and started losing faith in certain scenarios. But with Jordan Love, it's exciting, he keeps you on your toes, you always feel like they're in the game no matter what happens. I love it.

Another thing that I find funny is how Jordan Love missed two games due to injury (obviously) if you double his stats (completions and attempts) he would be top 3 in yardage due to his yards per attempt. Still thrown the 4th most TD's (8) as well, yet all we can think about is "Damn, if only they could get on the same page, make simple throws, not have drops." It's scary to think about how much better the offense can still be even with all these issues and injuries.

@natejeppsen3958Ай бұрын
That's what I thought. If he doesn't try to come back to the ball it is a bit short but it hits him right in his hands and the the DB can only tackle Wicks. Its easy to say that if Jordan had layed it out there its an easy TD but that assumes Wicks stays in his route and plays the ball. I think Wicks is overthinking stuff right now and just needs to relax. He also needs to clean up the bubbles on his out route breaks.

@DanielFolsomАй бұрын
As impressive as the Goff game was from a "that's a feat" perspective ... I'm not sure it'd make a great breakdown, especially in a week where we're going to get fewer videos b/c JT didn't have his computer till Wednesday. Goff had a couple amazing throws-the spin throw definitely pops-but for the most part ... he threw really short passes. I think his average air yards per attempt was 4 point something, which isn't crazy low ... except when you realize that he had 0 incompletions (and incompletions usually count as a "0" for that stat). So he undoubtedly made the right decisions and got the ball to the right guys in space-and look, even if EVERY throw was at the line of scrimmage (and they weren't!), it'd still be impressive to complete 18 in a row. But in terms of a breakdown ... "here's another pretty short pass that the receivers going to run away with" ... might get a little old. Not saying JT won't do it, but I'd understand if he passes.
