It's really hard because I believe that Peterson wants to right a lot of wrongs in this world but his twisted view of God and The Bible Prevent him from really coming to a saving knowledge and acceptance of Jesus

@@goldentwilight1944 He wasn't offering proof that god actually exists, he was offering proof that belief in god is useful. I am not offering proof that Santa Claus exists, I am offer proof that belief in Santa Claus is useful. So yeah, the analogy works. I would love it if just once a theist could actual give us even one piece of good evidence that their gods or god actually exists. This is just another excuse to believe in something that has no good evidence to warrant belief in.

@@SalemK-ty4ti Well I'd have to disagree, There are plenty of good reasons to believe in God, and Theists have given evidence (though perhaps not the kind relevant to your expectations). All that being said I'm agnostic, so I'm yet to be fully convinced either.

@@goldentwilight1944 2 Question for you. 1. If there are plenty of good reasons to believe a god exists then why don't you believe? 2. Please give me your one best piece of good evidence that gods or a god exists? Good evidence is demonstrable evidence. Like if I claim trees exist I can take you to a tree and show you it exists. I can also demonstrate that air exist and that gravity exists even though we can't see these things. If you are not fully convinced then you are an Atheist. To be more precise you are an Agnostic Atheist just like me. I can't prove that no gods exists, but I see no good evidence to warrant belief that any of the 1,000's of gods claimed by man to exist.

I mean I can give you plenty of good reasons you should believe in Santa Claus, but I can’t give you even one good reason you should believe he exists.
