Germany has always had. Aaaaaaaand it's being used to stifle speech and silence dissent. The very first article of our constitution says: "Human dignity shall be inviolable. To respect and protect it shall be the duty of all state authority." Then specifically, we have a number of laws in our criminal code that protect one's honor, for example criminalizing insults. And the victim doesn't even have to press charges. You can press charges against a person based on them having insulted someone else. These laws do attempt to protect opinion and also have the condition of the insult being a violation of someone's honor, dignity or value as a person. And specifically the personhood of individuals of an identifiable group are protected and this is actively policed by authorities. However, courts have ruled time and time again that Germans, men, straight people, white people and rich people can't suffer any attack against their personhood in that way and therefore you can for example say "every man supports violence against women" (something a campaign by the state Hesse themselves are propagating), but to share a statistic and then question, whether letting hundreds of Afghans immigrate here unvetted, is to welcome rape-culture, will cost you 6000€ (about the same in USD). Or calling Germans "a race of dogs" is legal, but calling a politician a dick can get you fined. Leftists, islamists, or any other anti-german, anti-west group can say whatever they want without fear of repercussion. The most common totalitarian suppression of free speech is clearly regarding criticism of the open borders policy or of the illegal immigrants. But ever since women organizations are speaking up about the entirely imported epidemic of violent rape, gang-rape and femicide, there has been slight improvement with what you can publicly say. Major news outlets are also finally reporting stuff, that they themselves have called others racist or xenophobic for bringing up.

Respect isn't about doing what other people demand that you do. Respect is showing good-will and acknowledgement of humanity to and of another person in the context of the culture of the person showing the respect. I was raised to show respect by talking civilly and addressing people politely, like "sir", "mister", "ma'am", "miss", and "mrs." If I use these salutations, I am showing respect. You do not have the option of calling me disrespectful for showing respect in the way I know and not the way YOU prefer. If you do so, then YOU are the disrespectful one.

You can tell he's incredibly nervous, and I think despite all of that he was still very clear and maintained a coherent argument. I'm assuming he spent a lot of time practicing what he was going to say. I don't live in Canada; however, I am incredibly happy for Canadians that they have someone who is able maintain their composure in the face of such pressure to have the courage to represent the opposing side in a way that doesn't devolve into chaos. I appreciate the fact that he's able to actually extract the argument from the other side, and instead of attacking back and continuing the cycle of neither side listening to each other. He's able to actually have a conversation about the arguments put forth and articulate the counter arguments most people can only understand emotionally. I think this is what makes him an incredible human despite what you feel about him politically. He's incredibly emotionally literate and understands WHY things make us feel as we do. People love to intentionally misrepresent his arguments, but he's not against anyone; he's against the legal mandates and perversion of science. He's never said someone can't live their life as they see fit. He has said that he won't be compelled to agree with it though. He doesn't seek laws to ban your expression, but he's fighting laws that seek to ban his thoughts and opinions. You're allowed to do what you want, he's allowed to disagree with it. Neither of you should be allowed to ban the other. If he was advocating for laws against your freedom of expression I would fight against him with you. If you stop misrepresenting his ideals you'll see he doesn't care what YOU do, he cares what you are trying to FORCE HIM to do.

Jordan you speak such large words, but I always understand what your point is. I can appreciate your sentiment. Keep fighting to keep speech free. I’m supportive of the transgender community, but not when it sets precedence for mistakes to be put in the same category or prosecuted similarly as malicious behavior. If there can’t be a separation of the two legally, then there cannot be any laws passed regarding the matter. Gay rights activists of the past have taken any word you can think of, true hatred. What happened to the old saying of “sticks and stones…”? I think that the hatred that might be present in the modern world toward transgender people might be more toward the radical change in the structure of young society combined with maybe the status of being a transgender person. The hatred might come from an uncomfortability with change, from the change of one’s community and everyday life; from the television shows we watch, to the way we greet each other. Change is scary, and it causes people to act differently when they are uncomfortable. However, there should not be a law or piece of legislation that can control someone else and their right to say what they like, I believe that there needs to be a stronger sense of self-love or self-respect within people that are trying to inact a possible “scapegoat law” (E.g., “I feel attacked, go to jail”). With all due respect please thicken your skin and mature your mindset to not give in to the aggressors you face. I have faced adversity my entire life and I’m a better person for learning how to manage its affect on my life and my character. With all of that being said, I hope that you have a great day. Thanks for this video, it was definitely an eye opening session.

Legal compoltion is fearful compoltion. Compelled by law indicates action based on the fear of incarceration. Compelled speech is itself a human rights violation. Compelled respect, which they are trying to use as an excuse to create the precident to restrict speech, is religious.

Relationships are portrayed shallow in our arts far too much... While talking about relationships and love and affection. I was asked about the quality of them. I offered this. A partner is considered to be something you have. I pointed out the basic relationship quality difference between pet dogs and pet cats. Besides the litter box? Dogs are good but too needy. Cats don't over do it. There sweet when they are, and they are independent all the way around. But love to stay in your house if you let them. They get into affection when it's time for them. Dogs have no stop in them. They want to be the center of attention. Cats never loose their center of attention. If you meet pets at their way and vibration of living then life works by mutual agreement. Meeting your partner at their way and vibration of living should be know up front for the forever no matter commitment. If you could have your pet live forever you would. Because it's a working relationship. Your partner should be free of obligation to satisfy your keeping them like your pets get a free pass because the love commitment isn't lessened by what they do in your domain of experience. It's an unconditional love. If you loose your unconditional love for your partner you don't know what unconditional love is and are not willing to create it for yourself and blame the animated being you chose in front of you for it. You got tired of the false coating you put on it in the first place. A number one relationship is a place to give love out not milk it out from .

Pronouns are not subjective. They are OBjective. I don't know any "gender pronouns", nor do I plan to learn any. If you're the kind of person who cares about whether or not people use you CHOSEN "pronoun", you are not the type of person whose opinion I care about nor the type of person I choose to talk to in the first place. If you force me to interact with you, you WILL accept the respectful (in the context of MY upbringing and not YOUR twisting of the culture) addresses I use for you. I, as everyone in the world did until the past single-digits of years, have always operated on sex pronouns. They rely on objective sexual characteristics which are observable more than 99% of the time and do not require any input, clarification, or choice by the object of the pronoun. They have served me well for half a century and I do not plan on changing anytime in the future. If the powers that be choose to make this a criminal matter, then I will be a criminal.

I can imagine an anime of an egocentric male character constantly, comedically, telling the others to call him her, which they continuously don’t because they don’t see him as a her and it’s just some dude. And they being played for laughs. But then also be considered super offensive in modern times and the humor being a “product of its time”. To go further, however, now imagine that gag playing out then cut to them being in court and having this big serious congress meeting over it. It would be hilarious how baffling stupid it is to take it that far and that seriously over such a topic. Then you take a step back into real life and see that we are actually doing that only we are so in the atmosphere of it being a real thing that even those who acknowledge this is crazy haven’t REALLY acknowledged how holy shit ridiculous this all is. And I’m not saying that even as anti-trans or anything. I just think the way we are going about such an issue is kind of silly. You would expect these kind of meetings to be about some thing you know… Really serious. Like something that affects your immediate health or safety. Oh, and the reason why I could picture that scenario at the beginning in an anime, is because I already saw an anime called Angel Beats that had a character that told everyone to call him God, which they never did. It was played for laughs.

Smart people will chose to ignore the crazies, act like they're not even there. They can do nothing against you if you don't talk to them, as a bonus, it enrages them lol

The whole pronoun wave is us subsiding here in usa as far as i can see, in most camps. But then, we dont have a government body pompously meeting to pass legislation to force the use.

What's being pointed too here has a progenitor present in our every fashion of rudimentary living... I was weened from a time when everything was performed long hand. With arms legs and hands. Every job was filled with doing ness of physical movements. Now so many humans never taste a physical existence of such basic movements to augment existence for other humans. And the essence of the human timber of interactions had been replaced in too many placed by dry sterile themes of inner change replacing the human quality and its Byproduct nutritions. So we bicker ever so deeply looking for some bounce offs. But they can only be fought for over a few narrow pathways of expression. This develops insidiously over a short amount of time. Look at what we see from the suppose highest outlets of educational beings! They are starving for the human quality that we have evacuated from our daily lives That's what I know.
