I'm a 40 year KC fan, I've lived in Wisconsin for about 20 years. Packer fans did that every year. They also never left early no matter the score at the end. They were my second favorite team cause I was a fan of Favre, but I was happy when KC beat them.

The funniest thing in the world is how good Mahomes’ pocket awareness is now (HUGE strength at present), when as little back as two years ago it was a glaring weakness. Go watch some of his film from 2018, 2019 and 2020 and look at how much he has improved on the margins. Think about that for a second, he won a MVP, a bunch of playoff games, a SB and dominated his division at what we now know was his worst from a skill prospective. Week after week and year over year he continues to improve and if all goes well he will have 3 SB’s and maybe even a third SBMVP. That’s a Brady pace expect Mahomes is the one steering the ship whereas Brady wasn’t really Brady for the first couple.

As a Broncos fan I honestly still have no idea how we beat the Chiefs, Packers, Browns and Bills this year (aka 3 playoff teams and the B2B champs), but couldn’t beat below .500 trash teams like LV, Washington, New England, and The Jets??? I understand the defense needs massive improvement and we could use a real #1 WR, but to have a better record against good teams than you do against bad teams just doesn’t make one bit of sense to me.

The narrative on KC all season long, from analysts & NFL Talkshow hosts, was that “this is the most *vulnerable* Chiefs team in years.” That’s not exactly an *endorsement* of their talent. So, how DID they “win it all”? By being The Best Team situationally, and playing complimentary football… which is precisely what Poyer was saying.
