I just realized, this version of Lil Baby Crush uses a sample (the live guitar) from Jaco Pastorius - Portrait of Tracy, and to me it made this whole live performance 10 times cooler. That’s really why I love music. The way we put sounds together to make it into something special and heartwarming. Thinking, was the track originally produced using a sample from that song, or did someone realize the melody fit so perfectly afterwards?
