10mins ago I searched your channel to check if you dropped a video on the Zion's 3 and here we are 😅 Also just returned mine, the side panel on the outter part of the shoe really bothered me and caused pain. Too bad as I really like how they feel but this was not to be ignored. The fit is super snug so even though I went up a full size what changed is only length.😢

Honestly this shoe is perfect for me, feels really good on the foot, and I get extra hang time on them! But my feet are not wide, I guess that will make the ultimate difference. Only problem is that picks up dust really fast but after a swipe good as new

I am wide feet as I play in the zion 2 it is already pinch, if the 3 is even narrower i gotta pass. My favorite shoes is ASICS nova surge 2, it is so good for wide feet person.

I always loved playing in Zion 1/2 because they were so perfectly made for wide footer but this time I’m slightly dissatisfied with the 3. I got them on release and played them and it was unbearable after 1 hr already. Definitely not a shoe for wide footer this time😢😢

I hated these at first. Then I remembered I had some drop in soles from an air jordan 27. Put them in an now they feel great.

Man i been waiting on you to do this video. Played in my pair over the weekend, they felt good, I'm a wide footer and I think they will need time to break in cause of all the rubber. The lock down and comfort was great but i wish they were wider. It was good playin in a shoe were I didn't have to think about my feet and could do the moves I want. Great video as always!

Hey Doc, I bought a paid of Zion 2 after watching your review of them and I have to say it was everything I needed to help play ball again. The air storable was great for the heel and the air unit in the forefoot did what it was supposed to. The strap held down my foot too along with the heel cushion. With that said when I seen the Zion 3s they looked way too narrow, the insole looks nice but without the rest of the stuff that made the other two models what they were, looks like I should grab about pair of the 2s or maybe the Dame Extply?

I had the Zions 2 and lasted 5 months, I play 4 to 5 times a week at a concrete court, no paint and the Zions 2 are some of the best I've had for this type of court. The Zions 3 are not looking the same as far as I can see.

Damn, I was waiting for these but I’m flat footed like Mike Jordan 😏, I have the 38s but I noticed some pinching🤏 around the upper eyelets. I had to loosen the top of the laces a bit. I’m still looking 👀 for a good basketball 🏀 shoe without any associated pain. ☮️

Off topic but curious if youve ever recommended a carbon fiber insole which goes under the regular insole. My doctor did to support my foot with arthritis (developed after a navicular fracture). I haven't played with them yet. I feel like i lose cushioning but i may gain energy return.

I think the Zion three is a pretty decent shoe. I would give it a solid eight I feel like it would be better if it wasn’t as wide, and if the traction was just a little bit better and then she would be the new Kobe.

any high top basketball shoe with good full length zoom and no heel slippage? I miss playing in my jordan 29 and Curry 4s, now with all the mid cut and low cuts I bought I have been having knee tendonitis and achilles flare ups, Ive been doing strength training, and rehab for it but when I play in a shoe like kd15, luka 1s even LeBron 20 my achilles hurt like crazy. The lockdown is mid in my opinion. Heel slippage is huge and the lockdown cushion spreads out overtime and constant tightening the lace is required. I need help! Any shoe ike the jordan 29, Kobe 9 highs, Curry 4s? I tried going half size down but I also have a wide-toe box on the front so none of these have accomadated me compared to before. I always go true to size but now the lockdown these days are not as firm when I wore the 29s/ curry4s/ and Kobe 9 highs...again need help! Love always Dr.Zach

smh they shldve kept zion 1 n 2 wide base n toe box for extra stability and confidence, with these only those who are narrow wud fit tbh. no wonder the cramping there, cannot extend the toes properly since the cut are realy narrow and the midfoot are just whatever. i wonder if i expected too much from waiting for zion 2 real successor smh, since am having overpronation issues. alas, thx for ur explanation doc.

With so many mesh and woven materials these days, they're so hard to keep clean if you wear anything outdoors. Any tips for stopping this sort of shoe looking dirty /dusty quick? Even with protectant these look like I'd get them mad dirty (la melo 2 held dust like crazy 4 me on upper)

I had high hopes for this shoe but it was too narrow. Bummer. Plus, is it just me or is Nike invested in Lisfranc recovery products? They have gotten rid of midfoot shanks in most of their performance bball shoes. Is it a cost cutting issue or do they really believe most athletes don't need that protection? I had a buddy of mine deal with a lisfranc issue and its no joke.
