If you ever come back to Canberra, you should check out Screen Sound (aka The Film and Sound Archives). Also Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve southwest of Canberra. You can include that in a day trip with Cotter Dam, Tidbinbilla Deep Space Centre and Corin Dam. Corin Dam is quite deep in the Brindabella range and the mountains are often snow capped in winter.

Hi Jordan and Emily, I have never been to Australia so it was nice to experience the Capital Canberra, through this video. Being from the USA we always see Deer Crossing signs but I must say it is so strange seeing Kangaroo Crossing. I guess that is a real thing with all of the Kangaroos there. Since you mentioned about relocating of cars for Rental Companies they have really good deals for Cruises as well if you catch a one way relocation Cruise. There was a Travel Blogger that took a Cruise from Seattle Washington all the way to Sydney Australia, a 26 day cruise, for only $1,000. US dollars.
@JordanandEmily11 ай бұрын
Hi Ben! We almost took that same cruise home but the flights to get from south america to Seattle were too much! We do have a one way cruise to New Zealand soon though!

Hi Jordan & Emily, Another great video, can see the work you put into the multiple angle shots. Started watching your channel before going on a six week trip to Colombia (got back a month agp). Was a nice surprise to then see you visit the Old Bus Depot Markets in Kingston given I live 50 metres away from there! Also, next time you show an official Australian Coat of Arms, you could draw attention to the fact that the kangaroo is male... if you look for 'em, you will find 'em... and never be able to not see them again...

Americans have meat pies. They have more vegetables in them than the ones in the UK and Australia... We call them Pot Pies. They aren't hugely popular though. The only fast food ones that I know of are from KFC and they are pretty good. You can also get them frozen from the grocery store; some of those are not great but the more pricey ones are okay.

The big lake you were at was Lake Burleigh Griffin, named after Walter Burleigh Griffin, the winner of the competition to design Canberra, fun fact for you Jordan. Canberra does get a bad wrap, more than likely because of all the politicians and not much happening after 5pm. Adelaide gets a bad wrap because it’s supposedly has a bucket load of churches but in reality there’s not, and supposedly not much happening after 5pm here as well, but I think over the past few years there’s a lot that happens in Adelaide after 5pm. The war memorial is a must see at least once but even better to go more, there’s always something you didn’t see last time. But there is one thing that would be really cool to do in Canberra & that is to stay at Jamala Wildlife Lodge, where your room is in with the lions, giraffes, meerkats or even have the huge aquarium as a backdrop in your accommodation, only thing is, it’s pretty expensive. Good one you two. Miss you both, love you, mum.xx

The reasons why Australians don't like Canberra are ignorance and prejudice. They believe that Canberra is occupied solely by terrible public servants. The fact is that most Canberrans work for themselves or in privately owned businesses.
