@@theboycheef841 Talk with a Trek, Santa Cruz, and Specialized dealer. Personally, I would not buy a hard tail as my first bike but with a smaller budget, that may be your best bet if you want a bike off the showroom. However, if you wanted to scrape some extra change and save, Santa Cruz just released a new Hightower AL that has a good build and better reviews. But... its $2899. Another prospect is used bikes on Ebay, Craigslist, etc. Many rich snobs buy a hyper bike they dont have time to ride and sell it with MAJOR discounts.
