Jordan when I first found your Chanel you suggested buying a cash envelope binder off Amazon if the ones in your shop were to much for some people. - I appreciated so much that having your own shop you’d still recommend an option for people on a tight budget. As my finances improved I’ve happily purchased from your shop for nicer products :)

You are so kind, thank you!! ❤❤❤ I do truly appreciate everyone who purchases from my shop (thank you!) but also hope everyone knows there is no pressure to do so and I'm so thankful you are all here on KZbin with me. You don't have to spend a lot of money to enjoy the process of cash budgeting and have cute stuff. =) ❤

I made my own 100 envelope challengeby sealing the envelopes and cutting each in half. Then i "laminated" them by wrapping packing tape around them to make them sturdier. I also use the index cards and small stickers to make fun savings challenges. I put the amount to save by each sticker and just crossed them out when i stuffed the $. I gave my nephew a piece of construction paper and some super hero stickers and he had fun putting a sticker on every time he saved a dollar.

What a fantastic video! I’ve struggled with the ideas of selling my own cute polished budgeting products and the idea of budgeting and how in teaching others to cash stuff and budget I don’t want to encourage others to buy more than what they need and can maybe afford. I love how you offer a low cost option.

Thank you so much!! And I'm 100% with you, as a business owner who would 1000%%%% prefer to just give everything away, it feels conflicting sometimes. I hope providing other options helps remind everyone there are more options than what's on Etsy and small business shops. ❤

Another thing that you can definitely use the index cards is to create your own place holders when you want to transfer real larger bills into the bank. As much as I want the decorative and laminated place holders, they can be pricey. Creating your own is much more fun anyway!

A lot of the plastic containers at dollar tree have motifs on them that can be removed with rubbing alcohol. I do this with the little plastic sandwich holders and water bottle and things like that. I'd try it with that pencil box.

I think these things are great. I bought a few binders from Amazon & temu along with the inserts, then found I needed the 6 hole punch etc. I make my own challenges, but honestly I spent a lot more money than I needed to. I did use DT envelopes, I don't like the flaps, so sealed them, wacked off the top 1/2", then put a notch in the centers to make it easy to see and remove the money. I had 1/2" round stickers 1-100, had my grandson help me put them on, he's 7 so placement is kind of random but it was a fun memory. The envelopes are working great so far! I need a planner so will check them out. Love the llamas!

7:10 if you use these for saving-goal envelopes, you could remove the flap off the front of the pocket and use it as a label holder, which im thinking i will do bc i deal strictly in cash if i dont have the cash for something i dont need it lol

great ideas. I like the 50 envelope challenge idea. Also how do you position your camera, if you don't mind me asking? I can't get the shot right, without just cutting important stuff out and showing my legs. 🤣🤣
@JordanBudgets3 ай бұрын
lol! I have a camera "arm"! I'd attach a link here but i'm not sure if youtube will block the comment from you. The wording on Amazon for the exact one I use is: "Overhead Tripod Mount for Camera Webcam Ring Light, Flexible Over Head Arm for iPhone with Phone Holder and Ball Head," and it's $19. I basically put the side holding the camera right in front of where my face should be. 🤣 So it's kind of awkward trying to look and work around it at first. But I like the angle to be as if you were there looking down/what my view is. I hope that makes sense!

Jordan you can remove my comment if not allowed. I recently purchased the April budget binder without the month label. Instead of writing on the paper inserts, I use a permanent marker and write on the plastic envelopes then wipe them clean with nail polish remover. Now my budget binder is reusable.
