I did something like the gratitude jar 2 years back. It was a bad idea, because the following year I had my heart broken, and notes I put in the jar only reminded me all those memories that will never be back.it was painful :)

Thanks for buying an old book from the thrift store, I always see people rip up perfectly good books just cause they’ve already read them and it makes me angry because growing up I was very poor and we couldn’t afford many books and seeing people just rip up perfectly good books that they could’ve donated makes me sad :(
