​​@@Jesseandrebeccathat's true for the most part, but will try to give you a more clear view.. ~when God hears your true and honest cry and you repent from your sin, by fully trusting in Him and completely turning to Him day by day with applying the scripture to your life with prayer. He will have mercy on you and give you peace. Believe that He has forgiven your sins when He died on the cross. He said; It is Finished! What was finished? Your price was paid! And by that, dead is conquered! because the wages of sin is dead, but when there are no more wages there is no dead. And because He raised from the dead, we are risen as well! and have through the strength of our living God, everlasting life! So ask Him to give you the strength to keep you from sinning and to truly hate sin and to start living for Him, through Him (with the weapon's He provides for us, prayer and The Word) because He is the Word) John 1. By walking how He shows us(through His Word) that we should walk, that's when we walk in The Way, to everlasting life with the Truth(Sword) on our (in)side. In Him, through Him dieing for us and living in us, we live to/for Him! To honour Him. And by doing so we have eternal life! Don't try to live life in your own strength, but rather turn FULLY to our God and Savior Jesus Christ! When you do that, He WILL give you His help, The Holy Spirit, He WILL enable you, to live for Him, not because of you, but because of His name sake and that's why He IS Good and Kind and Mercyfull. Open your Holy Bible- Search and you will find! Get on your knees- Pray and you will be given! Keep knocking ~in prayer~ and the door ~in His Word~ will be opened!! HE WHO KNEELS THE MOST, STANDS THE BEST. ~D.L. MOODY
