I'd put that $800 towards starting my own after-school arts program for neuro-atypical learners. Music encouraged me to learn and engage in life skills as well as furthering my academics. Even though my ADHD made school difficult, band helped my find a place where I could thrive! I hope one day I can provide the same sanctuary for differentiated learners.
