*1-1 Mentorship Information: Price & Structure (Maximum Capacity = 20 Clients Per Year)* It's an absolute pleasure to film these KZbin videos, and I feel fortunate to receive an abundance of meaningful messages every week, but I am unfortunately faced with the disappointing reality of turning away the vast majority of people who want to work together. I have significantly limited availability and can only support twenty people per year because I do not offer one-off calls or drop-in consulting sessions. Twenty individuals might not sound like maximum capacity, but the last few years of teaching have taught me the importance of maintaining tight energetic boundaries if I want to keep uploading these free videos in addition to serving my current clients to the best of my ability in 2024. To minimise confusion and enhance transparency, I've spent several hours writing this ridiculously long comment to help you decide if my Inner Work Mentorship is the right choice for your development & what you could reasonably expect from working closely together. Please take the time to read this comment before contacting me on Instagram… or feel free to stop reading right now if you’re not interested in my fees, session structure, client expectations, etc. ... *READ BEFORE SCROLLING FURTHER:* I'm interested in long-term change and structural transformation, which is why I've never offered one-off sessions. Complex issues cannot be resolved in a few hours, but we likewise need to define an upper limit for therapeutic containment. I've learned that deep and enduring self-integration requires at least four months of immersive collaboration. Why four months? It's enough weekly contact for us to work through multiple complex issues and developmental possibilities, but short enough to mitigate against unconscious co-dependency and motivational stagnation. I'm currently accepting a maximum of two new clients per month - message me after reading the following section to check my availability. ... *HOW I WORK & WHO I WORK WITH* Unlike therapists and coaches who take an understandably more relaxed approach to healing and integration, my mentorships are characteristically intense. This is a highly-demanding, high-investment process which requires our consistent combined effort over a period of four months. If we were to start working together, I would reasonably expect you to be excited to show up for a minimum of 10+ hours of self-motivated therapeutic process per week (daily reading, fitness routine, creative exercises, spiritual practice, etc.) while also maintaining full-sobriety (no drink, no drugs). These strict standards of discipline and sobriety are plainly unsuitable for most people in most situations - even genuinely motivated individuals who resonate with this series may not be the right match for four months of structured Inner Work. If you want to get deeper, I've noticed that there's a certain type of ‘temperament' & 'timing’ to get the most out of me. I'm interested in alert, creative and purpose-driven individuals who aspire to exceptional standards of self-maturation and would enjoy the feeling of going through week-on-week of progressively stacked therapeutic experiences for a third of a year: my ideal client is somebody who is willing to bring forward their internal complexity with a sense of courage and transparency with the intention of nothing less than full-spectrum transformation & rapid acceleration on their personal path. I am yet to discover another supportive figure who offers something comparable to this mentorship: a four-month, structured yet flexible 1-1 container which is simultaneously therapeutic, academic and action-oriented; with primary focus placed on tangible improvements in your felt sense of self-knowledge and self-integration; in addition to real-world outcomes based on the personal goals you share with me. I prioritise contact, compassion and accountability, which means that your work never really 'ends' at the end of your session. You can reasonably expect to be fed dozens of customised reading suggestions and follow-on perspectives outside of the formal sessions via messenger contact - where I am active and available four days per week for check-ins and additional support. As way of conclusion for what feels like an extraordinarily long comment, I feel compelled to once more emphasise that working directly with me is unrealistic for most people in most situations. I often support people who are accustomed to professional support after working through previous traumas with other coaches and therapists before we begin our work together. Even individuals without 'hard trauma' can expect moments of pressurised darkness and heaviness during periods of shadow contact as you begin to restructure your personal unconscious. KZbin is a wonderful place for me to share free research resources and offer accessible inner work invitations; my private sessions, however, are the place for collaborative partnership and emotional security as we identify, navigate and restructure oftentimes confronting and challenging conscious and unconscious physical, emotional and mental material. Ultimately, this is a demanding but highly-rewarding process which requires the best of our shared intentions. ... *SESSION STRUCTURE & FEES:* The total fee for an Inner Work Mentorship (including 12 x 2 hr sessions) is £7,400 GBP or $9,400 USD. Each private session lasts two hours, and is facilitated via Telegram video call at an ideal time for both of us. Your mentorship extends over a linear four-month period, with a total of twenty-four hours of structured session time, in addition to four days per week of unlimited messenger availability for accountability updates, voice note exchanges and additional calls if required. I do not work on Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays, but I am fully-available across all timezones for regular calls and messenger contact on Thursday - Sunday. If you’ve scrolled this far and resonate with what I’m offering, I invite you to message me on Instagram. It would be my pleasure to connect with you and start exchanging voice notes in real-time. IMPORTANT: I work with no more than twenty people per year, and am currently accepting a maximum of two new clients per month. I am not available for Instagram DM therapy or one-off calls. This is my only offer and my pricing is liable to adjustment over time. I respond personally to every message I receive which means it sometimes takes up to four weeks for me to get back to you with full presence. I appreciate your patience with my response and look forwards to learning how I could help you.

I appreciate that you mentioned that the lower unconscious territory isn't limited to negative experiences. A handful of years ago, I was privileged enough to watch my birth on video tape. Observing the moment I was brought to the earth ignited such a passion in my heart for life itself. I watched my mother struggle and saw myself fervently fighting to actually get here, and the moment my tiny infant body came out was rather quick. I got this overwhelming sense that my infant self desperately desired to be, and knew that she needed to be a part of this world. Little me just looked as if she had a focused idea, a purpose for coming here. It is all highly intentional for reasons that are beyond my current understanding. These thoughts and beautiful, positive feelings and emotions, I think from the unconscious, radiated throughout my body. I am forever grateful that somebody captured that moment, and thankful that my mother so carefully kept it tucked away for all those years for me to see later on.

Bam! Brother from another mother, you nailed it with Washburn’s work. At the end of the day, awakening our body so ultimately, IT becomes the ego itself….overcoming our body of sins and humiliations into the resurrection presence of our own personal Eternal Spirit that doesn’t die…His book articulates the stages of Energetic awakening / Kundalini integration better and more precisely than any book I’ve ever read. Biophotonic development and the art of practicing healing energy upon our own bodies is the way to life and truth, the living out experientially of our connection to God through the body. Pure energy demands nothing less than sincerity of heart, devotion to love and discernment to know where we end and others begin.

My mom told me she had an abortion just prior to having me, and was (expectedly) depressed and anxious for much of my gestation and first few years. Your video today brought to mind a quote actually from church.... "Shadows are created when light is blocked. Shadows disappear when a light is shined directly from above." We all at least can get glimpses of ways to lovingly view our lower trauma but it isn't a state of mind most of us reside in continually. My sentiment right now is that hopefully we can experience enough of these "glimpses" where we can more easily remember. Great video, I put some new books on the list of things I really want to read!

*Want your inner work challenge answered in the next episode? Here are the Inner Work themes and concerns which I am currently prioritising:* - Trauma Healing & Trauma Release - Parts Work & Subpersonalities - Jungian Psychology & Archetypes - Transpersonal Psychology / Healing - Self Education & Research Suggestions - Masculine / Feminine Dynamics - Addiction, Recovery & Sobriety In the spirit of doing this work together, and extending our genuine concern for others, I invite you to consider phrasing your question to serve on behalf of both yourself and the silent stranger across the ocean who is seeking the exact same answers as you, but might not be willing to get directly involved. We experience our internal worlds independently, but we are remarkably interwoven at our essence. I find this zoom-out awareness connective and comforting, so I naturally welcome your individual perspective while also looking forward to watching this series unfold at the particular intersection between personal circumstances and broader collective challenges. In terms of question boundaries and guidelines, these videos are not an opportunity for long personal essays or indiscriminate trauma dumping. Self-reflective writing is suitable for private journaling, but clearly inappropriate for a public video series. I hope this is obvious, but perhaps worth stating nonetheless. *Question Length: I kindly request that you limit your question to a maximum of two concise sentences.* Important: Comment replies do not show up in my notification box. Please post your question as a new comment on this video, otherwise I will not see your message.

Ahh, good old Maslow. Self-actualization through the fulfillment of needs. Your fulcrum analogy makes perfect sense to me. I've been reading Albert Camus, and he has this quote - "Freedom is nothing but a chance to be better." My friend has no inner monologue, but mine is a cast of thousands. Our conversations can be challenging but interesting. I'm not sure how her integration would work. Awareness and conceptualizing, maybe? In any case, this is an intriguing topic. Thanks for the video and inspiration! 📚

Hi and thank you Jordan. Question, I’ve never been attracted to an over abundance of reading. I prefer the blind experiential journey and to seek material after if necessary. What are your thoughts on the feminine as the experience/embodied and masculine as the observer/knowledge…I feel I’m entering a split from a more unified (state whilst single for many years) to a invitation of a relationship by dropping more into femininity, almost as though I’m preparing
@jordanthornton
@jordanthornton 2 жыл бұрын
I've screenshotted your question and will post a full video response within a month, all being well - excellent question, thank you! In the meantime, I've found that there are certain complexities which arise at the 'higher levels' of feminine/masculine wisdom acquisition and expression which call for far more sophistication than I could express in a comment response hahah I don't think the split between fem/masc as embodied/observer holds much weight, ultimately. There are ways of feminine knowledge/rationality and male embodiedness which are of course contrasexual. I suppose the shorthand answer is that the gender distinctions start to breakdown at higher levels, and it's interesting to look into 'reveral psychologies' such as the sun being feminine and moon being masculine (opposite of conventional etc) So much more to share here, will make a video on this!

This term …. ‘ over simplifying’ … it’s got a mirroring connotation to the fools card in Tarot. We complete a cycle of growth, back to another level of wholeness , through integration and release ( push and pull dynamics) , creating further balance, equilibrium in our conscious realm ( the middle of the egg) . The entire journey back to the fools beginning, card 0 . With clarity shines another new path , paving our way to begin again. Probably a fool would dive head on yet again …. If we put it … simply … ‘ oversimplified ‘ 😃 What absurdity , beyond unwavering faith, eternal hope, unconditional trust, moment to moment joy n enthusiasm, love love love , courage beyond reason …. …. The question then …. What absurdity propels him to fly and fall …. Yet again ?? He knows how exhaustingly bruised /battered he was at the last finish line. shadow work is quite a walk though a labyrinth ( over simplified again) Yet, this absurd resilience to begin again. I’ll be honest , when put to my limits during this current peeling process of my shadow , I’ve felt quite disillusioned and abandoned. ( this particular process has been ongoing a few years now) This phase didn’t just bring me back flat on my nose , but it’s challenging every muscle I grew to get myself back on my feet. Feels Like decades of hardwork been made redundant. I feel, my faith in my own growth is being questioned by my spirit guides . They won’t budge till I learn. And beyond…. I’m feeling pushed against a wall by my unwaveringly determined older version of self , openly challenging everything. I’m living in a boxing ring 😂😂😂 Love and Light to All

Thanks jordon for all that you do and share. I wish I was able to retain and comprehend a 10th of the information you have integrated. It's a source of great frustration as the desire to learn and understand is there but I Find it really hard to Retain it. I have been assessed as being dyslexic and I'm waiting on an ADHD assessment. I Know that these are just labels but the influence of these difficulties have had a profound and frustrating impact on my life. They probably have resulted in my shadow self having too great an influence on my life. Any advice for one such as myself who wants to have healthier integration yet struggles to retain and implement this information.

@@jordanthornton hee. Funny coincidence: I was being 'nosey' reading these comments, and see "Shadow King" as a book title, when that is the same name as the "series" I've been making (based from a riff I wrote- never having heard of this book)- and most likely ruining whatever chance I may have had at a "viable" YT Channel, by being completely inconsistent but, ...nonetheless, there it is. A seeming stark 'confirmation' (or strange 'synchronicity' at least) to me personally, - not the least of which that by the subject of said book ("Archetypes") it also twangs another string in my 'energetic heart', ...that of understanding that part of what *I* feel I'm doing 'here', is to understand, cultivate/curate and then embody a certain (as yet only generally defined) Archetypal model, to the best of my ability anyway, which constitutes the "why" behind the dramatic shift in my YT content, and thus was born "Shadow Kings", in which I address a full complement of a "collective" of sorts, which I often sense, but of course, do not *know*, they being the sort that would just as soon NOT appeal openly for help or guidance, yet - their need is very great. It's a way of supplying that 'need', a generous 'helping' of Encouragement, with a dash of Hope, without anyone's feeling exposed, nor ashamed, as so often those of us do, who are (my version of) Shadow Kings. Or, then again, I could be entirely wrong. Please ask me again tomorrow. Haha. P.S. I suppose I should have continued to watch the video before I spoke, as around the 15 minute mark and such, your message has indeed become very compelling to me, and clarifies that perhaps whatever it is I'm 'doing' with this has some merit of which I was unaware. Fact is, I don't think one can truly reach (in a Stable manner anyway) any great "Heights" of Enlightenment, or even an authentic Self Actualization, without having a firm, and VERY deep Footing (as it were) grounded, dare I say *rooted* in the depths of the Shadow realm... the Nadir (which means 'through'/beyond as much or more than "down") of our consciousness-- indeed, in my opinion, holds the Key to the *back door* of Enlightenment. So? That is where I 'delve', and do tend to abide, and am quite content. The VOID is where it all begins, is it not? I feel humbled to have run across this information at such an opportune time for me, in the course of my own progression, and again must offer many thanks, for this, and the Work you do. It most assuredly is making a Difference and helping folks interpret, shape and improve their Lives. Something to be said for that, friend. You're making the World a better place. Appreciate it.

Another solid vid. Are there any books on the dark night of the soul experience that you would recommend out of the ones you mentioned or in general? As I understand Jung viewed it as a shift of the center of gravity. Not sure what he meant though and how to know if its the real dark night of the soul or just another ego deflation unseating experiencing ending in derealization or spiritual bypassing. I guess feeling enfeebled after is kinda telling that psyche is blocking access to the lower energies so probably not real enlightenment as that would entail integration of the lower unconcious center and having some semi concious access to it when mecessary. Figured I'd do some psychological digging before diving head long into a faith or ideology. If you can't decide if its repression or enlightenment the answer is probably ocd or adhd.

That's funny! Our Innerworld has a heaven, a "normal" world and a hell. It sounds a lot like what you're describing 👀 With alters that see themselves as more "evil" living in Hell and alters that identify more with the godlike archetypes living in heaven and the more interested in daily life alters living in the world between. It even looks like the egg XD with our meeting place at the Centre

Map of the territory may not be precise, but it's certainly a human baseline when we pay attention. Happy to hear from you, and wishing you well with your centring.

Lost me when I saw you were wearing a cross, a very limiting and loaded frame that causes me to place you there.

Appreciate your honesty, is there something in particular about Christianity or faith that you find unpalatable? Wishing you well 🌲

@@jordanthornton isn't there something in particular about Christianity or faith that you find unpalatable? How about it's cult like hypocrisy, magical thinking, and manipulation by white christian nationalists to disguise/sheild their hatred for other, lust for power, and patriarchal authoritarianism? No problem with yr faith, just don't advertise it.

@@savannahscarborough2171 Each faith has different levels of consciousness and exoteric / esoteric expressions. I likewise disagree with much of what you've shared. Nobody should use religion to disguise their greed or power hunger... but I'm sure we can both agree that these examples are lower forms of religious expression which miss out on much of the nuance and wisdom to be explored through the mystical lineages. Wishing you well.

I might gently suggest that judging someone's legitimacy upon their wearing a symbol is likewise coming from a limiting and loaded frame. I'm sorry for any pain you've experienced due to your encounters and experiences with Christianity but please understand that each individual is different and there are many expressions of Christianity as well as any other faith. I would challenge you to press into your discomfort with it and perhaps let it be redefined for you instead of making assumptions about individuals. I wish you healing, my friend.

Perfect! Took me a few days to work-out how to present this topic in 20 minutes but I'm pleased with how it turned out - glad this helped.
