Yes bro, with the world getting smaller and smaller. Small things like these are easily caught easily and spoils the whole India. I love Jordians, they are from Bengaluru. The vibe of Bangalurians and the people have made many people explore their creative side and becoming popular and there are a&$($ s like comedians like Rahul.Subramaniam who calls Bengaluru as Bangalore. Hey Jaby, I stay in Bangalore. Rickshaws are not really popular anymore. People use Uber or other ride sharing apps. Lots of auto come under Uber's new feature "Uber auto "

I've been using uber ola autos it in Delhi from the last 2 years atleast. Also used them at Trivandrum, Pune, Ahmedabad. I thought it was available everywhere.

Our State is expensive. People at the Airport walk 2 kms to the bus stand and then take the bus instead of the taxi.( generally the domestic tourists though)

we can book a rickshaw through ola or Uber it's called as ola Auto or Uber auto. For ola Auto it costs 29/- rupees for 4km.(IN HYDERABAD)

Hey, Goan here. And they charge ridiculous prices even if you are from there. (Although not 500, but they are definitely gonna try around 200 or so which makes no sense at all). Just don't take an auto. Its not worth it. Call an Uber or (for Goa) there's Goa Miles (another app).

Chris is right, rickshaws are becoming a rare sight day by day. Generally if someone wants to take one to reduce money they use "Uber Auto". It's basically regular rickshaws affiliated with uber and can be called from the app.

Those high prices are for everyone at the airport, railway or major bus stations. But in General Sometimes what costs Rs 100 in the day will cost Rs 300 in the Night or more as they add the return fare in it because they might not get any passenger from the drop location in the night.

You can actually call a rickshaw via Uber equivalent OLA in India. Just like a normal cab booking. You can also book a bike for 1 person. That's cheaper than a rickshaw since it's a two wheeler. And hailing a rickshaw is the standard.
