VeryEpicGamer On a smaller field though... so whilst statistically there’s a smaller chance of one of the players being infected if someone is then they are concentrated into a smaller area, and like someone has already said, inside!! If “proper” football wouldn’t have been allowed due to lock down or social distancing reasons then this clearly wouldn’t have been a solution, never mind the fact that in terms of the game it would have had no integrity as a way to conclude the league. Basically the only options realistically were to find a way to play all the games and conclude the league, cancel all of the games and decide on how to apportion titles, relegations, European qualification places, etc., or cancel all of the games and void the season. There was never realistically going to be an alternate format to play out the remaining fixtures.

Never seen free kicks hit with so much ferocity! 80 goals for Rangers from midfield including belters Vs Bayern Munich, Parma, PSV,Kaiserlautern, Strasbourg and Sturm Graz. The game Vs Parma at Ibrox when their squad was truely phenomenal with stars like Cannavaro,Buffon,Thuram,Veron,Ortega, Baggio,Boghossian,Crespo,Fuser,Stanic and Amoroso was the best atmosphere I've ever witnessed at a football stadium. Absolutely pandemonium it was. GK Buffon admitted years later he had never heard anything like it and couldn't concentrate! Great memories 🇬🇧⚒️🇬🇧⚒️🇬🇧⚒️

How has nobody ever set up a Masters Football League? This is perfect for players who are too old to play professional football but still want that football experience. Imagine if there were 8-12 teams or something and they had a draft to determine the players for each team. If anybody is into basketball you’d know how well the “Big 3” basketball league works in America. This concept would be so perfect over here. All these players who are suffering after retirement would have an escape. Not to mention we’d get to watch some of our old favourites playing. Imagine getting the likes of Drogba, Van Persie, Scholes, Rio Ferdinand etc to name a few who aren’t in coaching but could play.

Yes please bring back. They could have games or tournaments in different parts of the world so people in other countries could see some of the greatest players of all time. A Legends, Champions League style, Futsal League/Tournament that has some matches abroad would be amazing. I know they would sell out venues & arenas in US. In 5-10 years this could be something great. This would be Great for the sport, the Economies where tournaments were held, things like the mental health of former players, as mentioned above, the pro’s list goes on and on....

Seeing the stars of yester year in this tournament with the older generation describing their feats is a fundamental part of my love for football, we so often fail to honour the majority of ex pro's and laud the few who make to media or management. I played in a Wrexham FC charity match some years ago with Mickey 'Dodgy Fivers' Thomas, Billy Ashcroft and Joey Jones to name a few and it made realise just how talented they must have been and respect them far higher, rather than the tendency of kids to think its just another past it stuck in his glory days.....

More than 100, 000 views in 3 days, if this was posted as a fact-finding mission Sky Sports, there's your answer .. bring this back. Not just for the fans, but for the ex-players who struggle with life after football this provides the perfect opportunity to keep, fit, keep in touch with old team-mates & play the beautiful game again. The PFA should be looking at doing this anyway & save themselves money later on counselling etc etc. A real no-brainer.
