TonyDracon he’s a ref that was fired recently. He’s known to be very slow to call a fight when it’s the proper time to do it. For instance, he was the ref of a fight recently I think and the one dude was pounding the other fighter ( forgot the fight ) on the ground endlessly and Yamaski just stood there daydreaming when most if not all Ref’s would have stopped it after 3-6 hard blows. They say he used to be ref in full contact sports and that explains why he’s always slow to stop fights when they get brutal but it’s UFC and it’s still USA and unfortunately rules do apply. So that’s what these guys meant because they believe the ref in the fight tonight had most involvement in bringing the Doctor in to check out Diaz which in turn caused the fight to be stopped in Favor of Masvidal getting lucky and winning by TKO even though he was about to get dropped in that round or the final 5 th round right after 😉

Gamebred was on top of Nate at the very end of the 3rd round dropping elbows and punches, the bell interrupted I didn't see to much difference from the first 2 rounds..it's actually a good move to put your hands on your head it brings more oxygen to the lungs and muscles the thing to pay attention 2 is how he looked going into the 4th after the breather standing ready to go while the doctor was looking at Nate he looked just as fresh as Nate im pretty sure it wouldn't have ended good for Nate .

@Jon Davis I agree that Nate wasn't doing much and Jorge definitely dominated through all three rounds, but I felt like Jorge was gassed at the end of the third and Nate was not. I would have loved to see what would have happened in the fourth and fifth. Diaz has the superior cardio but Masvidal definitely has heart and will push himself to the death, unlike McGregor who gassed in the first fight against Diaz and rolled over and gave up. Masvidal won't do that. I was rooting for Masvidal, by the way, but was thinking he was going to have to dig very deep in the fourth.

Man, I would think twice about having any more UFC in New York if I were UFC management. That cut was par for the course with Nate, or even in MMA. The bleeding wasn't obscuring his vision at all. Also, it looked like Masvidal was getting tired and Diaz was just starting to get revved up. He delivered some audible smacks from the bottom at the end of the third round. I was REALLY looking forward to seeing what Diaz was going to do in the fourth and fifth. His gas tank wasn't even a quarter empty yet. Definitely needs to be a rematch...in Las Vegas PLEASE. That freaking doctor is probably an MMA NOOB!

Sorry dude definitely didn’t see that happening, the amount of damage done in the first 3 rounds were doing damage. 4th and 5th sure Diaz could’ve turned up but it still would have had to end in a tko/submission. Jorge did great getting back on his feet fast and wouldn’t get into Nates guard so a submission wouldn’t necessarily been the way to put Jorge out. I would like to see them running it back for the sake of it ending like this. That Dr. is clearly a fucking goof for ending it like this.
