Jorge is so impressive! I was honored to hear that two of his favorites are my absolute two favorites in the 50th Anniversary and the 80th! I've never had the Family Reserve 85....but now I have to remedy that. Thank you Mazz for the great work here!

In my opinion, the best cigars in the industry are being produced from these 3 Factories... Padron, Fuente, my father.

Excellent video as always. I attended the Padron event that day at the Northeast location and Mr. Padron was kind enough to sign a box for my Son as a college graduation gift. Had the chance to meet Mazz too!

Can't go wrong with Oban and a premium cigar, that's for sure. These are great interviews, I'm really enjoying them. I'm Cuban, came to the U.S. in 1962 when I was 6; my maternal grandfather and uncles were "torcedores" in Santa Clara, I remember the rolling tables in my grandma's house. Good memories... Keep up the good work!

Jorge has always been one of those individuals that I look up to as a father figure or I guess I should say mentor😂hearing him talk about his experiences and his knowledge not only about the industry, but just life in general, completely different from any family brand out there! Yes he’s of course running a long standing business and naturally the goal of any business is to make money, but Jorge is in it for the quality, traditions, and lineage that the cigar industry is known for. Quality over quantity; padrón is the embodiment of that, and that is why they will always stay at the top!!

Just an idea in helping build the industry not just a brand. Add in the question..."if you were out and offered a cigar that wasn't from your own line up, but they had everything else available....what would you choose?" Hearing a CEO say they enjoy another manufactures product would get people thinking outside their go loyalties, trying, and suggesting different cigars to friends and newbies.

I love this interview. PADRON has become my favorite cigar. Their Tabasco is superb and their cigars always deliver full unadulterated flavor. Their tobacco reminds me of the fresh Tabasco I grew up seeing and experiencing in my country, Haiti. Both taste and smell are full and potent. I will be in the MIA in August and hope to visit Padron.

@anthonymazzola4470 I'm just busting your choosing a bit, man. I've got Hispanic friends, one named Jorge, who's very particular about being called by his name as he shares it with his father and grandfather, and he's second-generation Mexican American so he wants to hold fast to his heritage. Great video as always, it was fun to hear Jorge recount some of his time in the business and his thoughts on Padron.
