On July 20, Cormac McCarthy would have turned 90... But death cut short his life on June 13, dying of natural causes at his home in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Stephen King called him "perhaps the greatest American novelist of my time," and critic Harold Bloom placed him on the podium, along with Don DeLillo, Thomas Pynchon, and Philip Roth.
In this report, we summarily recall his biography and review some of the titles that made him one of the most revulsive novelists of our time, listening to the violent and dark American conscience.
