From 'Following' (1998) to 'Oppenheimer' (2023), the British Christopher Nolan has cemented his career as a director, screenwriter and film producer, taking from Jorge Luis Borges the narrative axes on which he developed his acclaimed films and turning it into one of the key filmmakers of the 21st century.
In this report we review Nolan's sayings about the Argentine writer, which reflect the admiration that he professes for both his fiction and non-fiction work; and we analyze his most personal film productions, in which he does not hide having “plagiarized” the themes that so fascinated the author of ‘Ficciones’ and ‘El Aleph’.
