Thank you so much for sharing this! I was so inspired I had to try it and I love the results. The best part is that it's something I could involve my 3yr old daughter in. She did it with me and it made a lovely afternoon, the two of us playing with ink, and her results were beautiful. I can't wait now to stamp on them. I'm going to stamp my daughters background and put it on her bedroom wall as she's so proud of it. I'll be sure to post it in the LFY group on Facebook when it's done. Thanks again, love your work ❤️

Just had a thought. if this video of Jo's gets too popular we might face a shortage of cling film, like the toilet rolls except that for us crafters it would be an even more nightmarish scenario...when we want to try a new technique we want to try it NOW. I did a happy dance when I saw Jo's name come up on my alert subscription....just love these videos.

Thank you so much for showing us technique Jo. The only way I have made backgrounds using cling film is one I saw Barbara Gray demo using the Clarity coated card. The finished background is fabulous, but, because of my arthritis in my hands, I sometimes find it difficult to stamp on coated card without my hands wobbling! You have given me another option by show me this way. Many thanks 😊

Hello Jo, I’ve just received a good number of the stamps in the post, and I’m so excited to try this and nervous at the same time. I’m not an artist by any means, but this looks like so much fun and I absolutely adore the fairies, foliage, dragons and all. I wasn’t able to get the dragon just yet, but it’s on my next order. I love dragons the most along with wizards too, which are impossible for me to find in what I’m looking for. I always told people if I could ever draw, I’d draw dragons, lots and lots of dragons with some wizards thrown in here and there. It’s so cool that now they are in a stamp form, and I don’t need to know how to draw them. I’m tickled pink, kinda like some of the skies I will be making for them to fly through. Thank you so much for taking your time and explaining everything as you went along, as a beginner it had been greatly appreciated. You are such a kind soul and you seem to be ever so patient. I am definitely going to subscribe and watch some of your other tutorials. I have a brand new brayer too and ready to go! Woo hoo! This is going to be such a fun ride. I’ve never used a brayer before or have tried the cling wrap style you’ve just shown us. I haven’t done much of anything that comes to this craft, but I’ve also made sure to have the whole day along with what I hope to be peaceful and quiet, but I think that’s a bit of a stretch with two dogs, two teenagers, and a great hubby. Again, thank you. Wishing you and all happy crafters a stupendous day of crafting! Be well and stay smiling 🎈

Thank you Jo. I have just been learning how to do backgrounds for Lavinia stamps and have been watching Tracey since covid. I like your tutorials because I don't have a lot of what Tracey uses, no gelli plates or alcohol inks. Here it also very hard to get the Versafine ink colors, but I have some on hold. I have lots of oxides and distress inks. I do have trouble getting around the moon right, just have to practice more . I do find your backgrounds easier to do. I love the bubble wrap one for under water. Love this one and I'm going to give it a whirl .
