Dani, I've just discovered your work. First, the work you did on putting up Michael Harner's 30 min drumming video, so superior. It loses a tad of the brightness of his striking a tight drum, but what you offered allowed more flow in my journey. Thank you for that. Then, I discovered your rain video, wow, so lovely. Soft and steady, just like gentle but certain rain. I didn't listen all the way through because I wanted to check out the rest of your catalog, but do you have one of rain with lightning and thunder? I grew up in Florida, to show how climate change as messed things up, just 70 yrs ago we used to get massive, rolling rain storms with the darkest dark purple and green clouds, sounding the most thunderous thunder, big, heavy drums and the sharpest, longest winding, every which way, crackling of lightning. I'd love to hear what you do with those sounds. I also listened the sci-fi/game one... I'm familiar with that music. I think it's good. It's not music I listen to normally, but it holds up in that electronic music style. I am not a fan of only machine driven sound. I tend to look for the sounds you produce, nature sounds, ocean sounds, thunder storms, bird sounds, solfleggio, meditation, etc, I also listen to nondual guides' lectures and to pieces I can do dance warmups to. I've been looking for a music video of about 35 minutes long, maybe 40, that i can use to do dance warmups with... About 3/4 of the time, I start out doing some really deep listening to what the body wants to say and needs. That work can take a good 30 minutes or more, often I move without music, so whatever the sound is --it should be conducive to listening deeply and being kind to the body and patient until it opens up... So at least 30 minutes, or a little longer even up to 40-45, if not an hour... but not rushing into anything rigorous or up beat until after or as separate one to play after the warm up. Other times, I just want to jump in, like with Professor N Trance's work or Chaka Khan's Like Sugar. The problem for me is that most pieces one can dance to are too long. I am too old and have too many injuries to do 5-8+ minute high energy pieces. Several three minute, three in one half minutes, then four minute ones, then back down is good for dance warmups. Talk to dancers, see what they say, but not young ones or athletes...old dancers like me. I also highly recommend to any fan listener of yours reading this, to use a good quality headset. I found a pair of beatup, old Bose ones being thrown out and there is a huge difference between the Bose and the ones I was using before, wow...Anyway thanks again, Dani.
