I wish you could just go to Hytham and ask for a random assassination target. Doing the 3 daily quests is fine but they're always just 3 or 4 guys walking a long a road or rescue a guy from the same one or two camps. Why not put targets inside towns, castles etc with a huge guard presence just to give end game players a challenge

Important thing is if you want to save some upgrade materials you can do so with helix items since everything you get from helix store will be same level as your currently owned most upgraded item of the type. So for new ppl who are interested in getting helix stuff before buying I suggest to pick 1 fav set of armor 1 weapon 1 bow and 1 shield from what you can get for free or already have, max it all out and then everything you buy from helix store will be maxed too!

Another thing you can do is defog all of your maps. Best way to start is to walk on the boundaries all the way until you’re back to where you started. Then go to all of the black, fog areas.

I know this is nine months ago, But I just want to give a tip to some starting players. If you’re in dire need of leather and armor, do the river raids. You can get 70-80+ leather and iron in the smaller chests. Another tip, don’t start the raid with your crew, go in, in advance and clear the camp, THEN call in your crew to loot the supply chests. I thought I was the only one who did the Clear-then-raid strategy on rivers. It takes time, but it’s much easier to do that than lose your entire crew in a head-on battle. I do wish the raids gave Raw Materials and supplies, though. I don’t mind the upgrade mats, I just wish there was an easier way to do settlement upgrades.

I got a lot of runes by going around and collecting all the chests from all the locations. Not the wealth, the chests the smaller gold dots. Tons of runes and supplies so now when the river raid update comes out you can upgrade your settlement quicker too

For people like me who clear the area and then play the story of that area the only thing you have to do is getting Mjölnir because you need the full set of the Thor armour for that and for the cape you need all medallions after that there isn't nothing to do besides doing Reda daily missions that take like 5 mins so ya not very exciting.

The Ragnar quest has been live for a long time. You just kill all of ragnars warriors then you get a quest to go to the snake pit where he died. It plays a cutscene and at the end you jump in the pit and get Ragnars dagger

In conclusion: Not much 😐 I’ve completed the story and there’s nothing exciting to do 😕 Post river raids patch:LOL river raids were a fucking joke. I was expecting it to be super repayable but all it was was super copy and repastable for Ubisoft. The raid locations are so uninspired it’s crazy lmao. River raids suck and after you spend your time grinding for a reskin of an armor set already in the game you’re back to square one. Still waiting on wrath of the druids 😓. 2nd edit:Wrath of the druids came out and surprisingly I’m pretty entertained and I have plenty of stuff to do😃. Ubisoft delivered in that aspect for sure👍

As a side note, considering how much they went bamboozle with this game, an arena isn't a problem of "not the right time and place". They have displaced certain architectural styles and put them in one game, the esthetics overule everything in valhalla. But arenas are nowhere down the Scandinavian or saxon living and culture. The best they could do is have a reconditioned roman arena where vikings can train.

@@wiktorgorak7751 yea I even got the good ending. All trophies are done except revealing the entire order of the ancients. There is an open bug with Ubisoft but no timeline when this will be fixed. So if you haven’t already, don’t give the medallions until after you finish the main story line .

I'm already completely clearing out every region I pledged to... Every wealth, mystery, artifact, hoard maps, and every small chest... before I continue to the next region. I think I'm around 65% into the main story, fully upgraded power level 400... I kinda feel like I'm a bit overpowered 🤣

Btw, it's worth saving the blue dots because otherwise you level up too fast and in my opinion, it isn't fun at that point

Sadly I did them first because I like to clear each map section out as I go through them for the story. I was so overleveled (I am talking like 150+ power above) and I had no issue at the highest difficulty level

If you use helix credits on armor or weapons they scale at the gear you are wearing. So make sure u have your Sunday best on.

So there is a bug that i can not finish a specific alliance arc (eurviscire)and now i have done everything except one so im stuck with the game like 80% . other people have this problem bit ubisoft hasnt fixed it yet and im really pissed off

Still can't finish poor fellow soldier quest, cant even initiate it. Already killed all members of the order except the father yet haytham still won't talk to me to initiate the quest. I already have mjollnir and the entire thor set including the cloak which is supposed to be the reward for the order questline.

I’m at 38 hours and I’m power level 130 half way through England I also got all mysteries, treasure and artefacts in Norway I think 200 hours is a bit of an exaggeration if not I wish games could last that long for me

I was at around 80 hours in when I realised that I still to get back Sigurd, so I go to Randvi to pledge to Suthexe but she tells that it is advisable to get all the possible allies before attacking Suthexe so I assume it's the final story mission cuz all your allies get together to beat the bad guys (order of ancients) so I get all the allies I could, then I get the Winchester mission, so I do it and then go to Suthexe but the story doesn't end lol, now I am 106 hours in and I have to finish the final shire (its name is too long for me to remember), then I assume the story ends

You don’t need to use the fishing line on the fish. I got the achievement using my bow. Also I am doing the treasure horde maps now. Also going through my inventory and finding chests for some of the keys that I have that I never used.

I had a major glitch while I was doing a mission and he went reset it changed one of my armor set back to its basic form and I ran the berserker armor to 60% of the game before I actually started to change armors, I had that all the way max out at mystical level I kept resetting going back to save games and it would not give it back to me on a mystical level it gave it back but only at the basic form everything else all my other armor sets are still on mystical level. I just haven’t maxed everything out yet, but I’m not gonna bother maxing out the berserker armor because I already had and frankly I don’t really need that armor anymore because I have stronger armors. Reda’s missions Need to improve the assassination missions in odyssey was a lot more fun I’ll beat the game in 28 days playing two hours here three hours there, I’m just running around opening up all the chest which I’ve already done at this point

What I did after beating is DELETE the game. Then made manual save of Odyssey so I didn't lose all my things and started a new game from scratch. One of the BEST games I've ever played.

I have two maxed out sets of armor, three maxed out bows and two maxed out melee weapons and don’t really see the point in upgrading any of the other stuff I have so the resources keep piling up

After completing the stories I went to try to platinum and clear the regions and ran into at least two bugged mysteries and an artifact that's not even on my map. I'm hoping future updates will fix these cuz I really want to platinum this like Odyssey

Well it’s true it’s a valid complaint 🤨 the map is too big with too many stuff to attain so you get bored and than the traveling to get to the objective of whatever you’re doing is a hassle already too. & it’s not like you’re getting anything specks you’ll just a armor or weapon you already had to begin with

I think Ubisoft need to add in more travel points across the map. Maybe allow us to travel to all the smaller towns that dont have a synchronized point. I'm 135 hours into it.. And running across empty map gets bored really fast.

Last time I buy a Ubisoft game new due to all the bugs and blue screens of death I had. Also disappointing that as a much older person with far from great hand eye co-ordination that I have already (as of a couple of weeks ago) finished the main story. Also did it with very few changes in gear, just upgraded and improved the original Raven Clan gear and weapons as money and resources allowed. Bugs stopped completion of some side quests, the most annoying the codex pages. Not a patch on my favorites of Blag Flag and Odyssey, but does just rate above the worst which was ACIII (American Evolution).

I ended up killing the Elk of Bloody Peak and Erik Loyalskull in Norway, but I plan to wait until after I get Mjolnir, Gugnir, and Excalibur to go and kill the other 8 animals and the other 5 Drengrs.

It felt like the end of book 1. All the main cast went through an arc and the daneland is at full power now. Only downhill from here for our characters and lands starting in the expansions I assume.

Still waiting for Ubisoft to fix fish not spawning... can’t finish Fishing Hut Delivery or Stinky But Deadly. Also pet Fox completely disappeared while pet Wolf doesn’t enter settlement after last update.
