Not to get off topic but having just got to England I'm so impressed with how the devs refined exploration over Odyssey and even Origins. Your videos highlight the risk vs reward of exploration in area above your current level. I was pleasently surprised to find the Harpoon ability amongst other wealth and armor while out synchronizing. Thanks for the great work @jorraptor. Have fun everyone.

Something i noticed and haven't seen being mentioned anywhere, is the following; some of the gear pieces you find, are already flawless or mythical, making you think that they don't have an appearance of lower quality. Here's the thing: when customizing your Jomsviking you can actually see and select those other appearances e.g.: the thegn armor set starts of as flawless and in the customisation menu of the jomsviking you can select fine or superior. This makes me believe that they might bring back the ability to customize the appearance of gear

Another way to get thru barred doors is to equip two Dane axes and heavy attack the door. They'll clip thru and break the bar. I've used it several times with great success.

I have a insanely good poison build. Two pieces of the Thegn armour and two pieces of the Draugr armour Mournful Cry ,and the Morrigan's Guard shield. Also use the Venom Momentum rune on Mournful Cry. Also use the Miasma skill, and the Poison Strike ability. Really good poison build try it out. All of these go together very well. The Venom Momentum Rune is a Major rune btw. Jor you should try it.

I like the most and will never change it, the 2 handed dual spear. It has very fast light attacks and the heavy attacks deal so much damage, plus they have an insane amount of range. I like very much the dodgy type combat, and the 2 spears are just godly for it.

From what I found playing the game, 1H hammer/axe in the main hand and 2H sword in the off hand works best. 2H gives you the charging attack which allows you to stomp multiple enemies while if you use a Hammer you can do a heavy attack and then stomp. Long storry short, just give it a try.

@JorRaptor you know the drop down page that you can open by clicking the little arrow pointing down, on the right side across from your hashtags in blue and the video’s title, which are both on the left. It would be tremendous if you added the name of the weapon or gear item and a time stamp that will take you directly to the item your looking for. There are some content creators that do that and I can’t tell you how helpful it is. If I’m trying to find a couple items and I have to use a couple different videos to find each one separately, that time stamp saves me a lot of time and headaches. Even though it looks sick it's just not as good as the briton shield the smoke blinds you and isnt as good but the briton shield it heals you which is super good in dire situations especially if you struggle with the health in this game

I like the Morrigans Guard alot, I also run it with the "fire guard rune" I think it is. Which basically makes it poison and fire (like the fire circle on parry) But I also like watching enemies just take loads of damage from the status effects

I found a major rune that replicates the skill from the sarcophagus shield. It creates a ring of fire and you get it from the hunter hut its the black rune if you are looking at his trade list. I put it in my briton shield so it has the heal and ring of fire

Briton shield and Thor’s hammer is my set up and added rare ruins on then of Every crit has a chance to put your weapon on fire and every hit increases damage to 10 times and on my now it’s arc of ace and it’s rare ruin is the same thing as the first ruins except it heals you instead and I have Thor’s armor because my stun chance is now over 9,000

I found the poison sheild on accident. Didnt use it since i dont know whats best to use and i dont have heavy dual weild yet. Just breezing by with dads axe and the first hammer we get in my off hand . its funny to just knock somebody down and pretend their helmet is a nail. Managed to get the assassin set. You can save the adrenaline on those doors if you equip double 2 handed axes and spam the heavy attack you will end up breaking the lock on the other side

If you have the Grit skill with the poisons, you will basically never lose health, as everytime you get hit you get it back almost instantly, as long as the enemy hitting you is poisoned.

People are saying this games so bad but I like it. I like how long it is and how hard it is if you play on Drengr and Master Assassin's (the hardest difficultys)

When do Major runes start droping/showing up because I'm around power level 90 and all I've been getting are minor runes. I'm sure I have to progress the story but I'm just exploring getting wealth and solving mysteries/getting artifacts. I'm staying within my power level range (just so I'm not running all over the map) but theres a lot to pick up.

Where do you find/buy those runes on the first slot of runes on a weapon? Im level 100 with a mythical bow but only the bottom runes cause i cant find any to go on top help?

Jor, I found that you get the runes for the Mythical Weapons from killing members of the order.. I started clearing my list of revealed Order members, and got the runes as part of the rewards for the kill.

Yea and the homestead missions also give insane XP. I just did the mission for the baker and got 6000 xp which got me 6 skill points. DLC missions give like 5000 xp each as well I think and they are both fairly short.

Dreka bow: increased ranged damage the heavier you are. Great for a tank build! You get it from the helix store but its only 350 credits!

Did you know you can break a barred door from the outside if you strike it with two heavy weapons? I use a heavy ax and a great sword and it works everytime. I don’t know if it’s just a bug but it’s pretty useful
