Bought the Deluxe Edition for 55 and don't regret it at all. I like to support AAA single player games, as they are becoming a rarity. My recommendation: play it on nightmare difficulty. It's not that hard. I just completed the arena with just a shotgun and the rifle and I'm am39 years old playing the PC version with a controller (my 144hz monitor and rtx2080 helped, though. :)

I like Rage 2, but there's a couple of things that Avalanche / id have to patch and could include more stuff. - Fix the waypoint arrows. They're a bit too pale and cut off super abruptly, causing you to often drive past your mark. - Make all the guns viable. The revolver sucks at the moment, it's really barely usable. Make the pistol a bit better, same for the hyper canon. - More activities. Why aren't there more cars shooting at you in order to initiate combat? - Why not have car races with weapons allowed just like in Rage 1? - Mutants could attack cities, and you could start blasting the first waves and then have to drive to the heavy mutants further down the enemy lines. - The giant dildo towers have to be reworked. They just suck. - Guns often glitch into walls, making the game feel unpolished.

I gave a long long comment on this game. The history. I have rage 1. Start at the beginning. That game was barely considered successful. It took like a year just to sale 2million copies. Then quickly it got swept under the rug. It was to short. It was like a game you like but hate cause it's to short. I was kind of a fan. Yet I played and beat it once and never played it again. I was in denial and shock when I saw rage 2 being released. I bought the hype and actually tried rage 1 again. Got an hour in and couldn't do it. Turned it off. I knew they fixed it in rage 2. It's fun and an absolute blast but I still cant believe they made this game. So many more deserving sequels. I cant get over the this game was actually made while I'm playing it! Right when I felt great towards the game and got involved with the story and the characters. Then boom the game was over. I just started to like the story and get to know the environment. It was swept out from underneath me. Not even 6 hours to beat it! That was way worse then rage 1. I couldn't believe they did it again! I feel robbed. If I want a short survival game there is fortnite among others. Yet I paid almost a $95 for this game! I feel robbed and couldn't get over this feeling. Beat it within hours of buying it. I haven't played it since and don't feel attracted anymore to playing it. I'd just be driving and shooting but I got other games I can do that with and have a longer story and longer game. I returned-exchanged rage 2. It definitely is fun! Like a love to play but hate it cause it's way to short. What hurt it for me was I just started loving the entire story, the characters and all around environment and thought can't wait to see more when it went up in a puff of smoke! What the F were they thinking!

Reviews are always risky to do if your a content creator because you say something the devs don't want to hear your blacklisted by that dev , i know channels who criticised Bethesda alot and rightly so Bethesda's games have been awful past year but Bethesda's answer is blacklisting channels who do a honest review of their shitty product . Rage 2 is awful , good gun mechanics but not worth It's full price ...Many seen this coming .

Anyone know if this game will have a new game plus? I've heard it has an expansive upgrade system. Vehicle upgrades, weapon upgrades, player upgrades, power upgrades. It would be nice to know I can replay the game with all my hard work and grinding paying off. It's always a shame to finally max out your character, but there's nothing else to do in the game.

wooooow!so were at the point now where everyone justs slams a game until the company tucks tail and drops the price...smh.this isn't Fallout 76!this is just to hold ya over till doom eternal..there was even a leaflet for it in the case when you buy rage2...I personally dont think this game is goin to be discounted..its about fun not story..i got the deluxe from gamestop it came with a nerf style wingstick and the dlc thats coming out in fall...so why does this game get a "go here do this" when you raved about farcry5?!which besides its wash and repeat stories is the same thing with less gameplay options...not trying to fall on my sword for this game but is not a "new dawn" the game is long and not an EXPANSION..cant wait to see how everyone turns on Doom:eternal.damn..
