Even the xylophone hits me like a bullet. This has to be the best song ever.

The primary body of this song contains one of the most emotionally evocative pieces of music I’ve ever personally experienced, and I would be lying to you if I told you it didn’t have an earnest hand in helping me overcome an extremely dark, extremely low point in my life. So, so very impossibly thankful for music, for the hope and clarity it can bring, and for the life I still have.

i love anyone who finds this video. i spent months learning every single note of this song. i wouldnt stop till i could play every single note exactly the way Jose does it. i believed if i could play and sing this song as Jose did i could help others see how beautiful music can truly be. Jose is a beautiful person.

Too blind to know your best Hurrying through the forks without regrets Different now, every step feels like a mile All the lights seem to flash and pass you by So how's it gonna be When it all comes down, cycling trivialities But don't know which way to turn Every trifle becoming big concerns All this time you were chasing dreams Without knowing what you wanted them to mean So how's it gonna be When it all comes down, cycling trivialities So how's it gonna be When it all comes down, cycling trivialities Who cares in a hundred years from now All your small steps, all your shitty clouds Who cares in a hundred years from now Who'll remember all the players Who'll remember all the clowns So how's it gonna be When it all comes down, cycling trivialities So what does this really mean When it all comes down, cycling trivialities Cycling trivialities Cycling trivialities Cycling trivialities Cycling trivialities

I can't get enough of Jose's music. He is such an incredible artist with the talent and style that soothes the soul. His music is a gem. His guitar playing is unique and creative. I have come to know about his music not long ago, and I'm incredibly amazed and grateful to find such a talented artist. His talent, his style, and the peacefulness of his music is a gem. Thank you Jose..

I always interpreted this song as an analysis of life. I think it's about the matters we put so much bearing on, that really have no significance in our lives (trivial matters), and we end up losing sight of what we really should be doing. Enjoying ourselves, enjoying life.

Yes, this is one of the most amazing performances I have heard in my life too

Cycling = Life and Death Trivialities = Insignificance, pointlessness The song is all about being really sure what you want in life. 'All this time you were chasing dreams, Without knowing what you wanted them to mean.'

still by far the best recording and composition of G.J José González & The String Theory.
I Find the conductor a bit weird but nevertheless cool dude , Something different from the usual... Jose Gonzalez is an underrated musician not known to many . 'Have been posting this on several music enthusiast groups to uplift this guy to the pedestals he truly deserves .., Kudos & Godspeed Mr Jose Gonzalez !

I thought the same thing. I also felt like he spoke way too fast at the end of the song instead of letting the final notes ring to completion, which is a massive disrespect to the song.
