There is a very small margin between genius and madness. I have been following this man for many, many years now. It is natural that fans are always willing to see a performance, but it is also natural that a team loses, especially if it‘s not one of the best clubs in the world. However, the fans should not take for granted what has happened here over the past years or so. Coming back to the „small margins“, we were in the top 4 in march if i am correct? We were leading in the second half of a Europa League final, after having already won a Conference League the year before. The latter is not the sexiest trophy in the world, but still Roma‘s first in 15 years. Followed by an „almost“ second trophy. Of course there were problems, as there always are, a bunch of injuries from march to may. Very good opponents in Serie A . My question now: to anyone who seriously considered or still considers Mourinho to „be the problem“ or to „hold the team back“, „using dinosaur tactics“, i want to ask you: what is your vision for your club? Did you ever make your research about Mourinho and his accomplishments? No coach Roma EVER had was this successful in his entire career. I am not saying he is the best coach roma have ever had, but what i‘m saying is that you will only find out what you lose when it‘s too late. The clubs Jose has managed in the past 7 years are still suffering and both clubs (Manchester Utd & Tottenham) have won a grand total of …1 trophy combined since he left, they have been in more or less complete disarray for many years. Roma supporter here - think he is the best coach we have had in the modern era. Cant speak on the 90s... but dealing with all that was going on last season with injuries and poor form (and even his forst year). Its amazing what he has accomplished. I truly believe most managers under the same circumstances - would of gotten mid to bottom table & definetly not advanced anywhere in Europe (needless to say win the Europa Conference & to the reg Europa finals last season). Also what he accomplished at Manchester says it all in terms of his quality... Which I can speak on that too because happenstance, Man U is my 2nd love behind Roma. Dude won Europa and placed 2nd with a bunch of undisplined crybaby divas... haha smh Butttttttt Ive always known of "The Special One's" quality... by far my favorite manager and I think is the best of all time (rank him higher than Sir Alex, Pep, etc)... He is by far the BEST "signing" ;) we, Roma, have had... I am praying he signs an estension with the club. We will never get a manager of his calibre ever again... at least I dont think we ever will. With all that being said; think Jose finally has a squad now that he get into the top 4 and make another great run in Europe... As long as teh core players stay healthy and focus. FORZA ROMAAA!!!!!

As a Roma fan I find Jose similar to Capello for what he makes his players do and how he tried to change the clubs mentality. Tactically, he tells men where to be and where to go, but it kind of ends there. You don't see some gameplays that have been tested, everything seems just random, improvised. Each player touches spends too long on the ball looking for unmarked mates. That shows a lack of directions. Even last night. It took the initiatives of Dybala, Sanchez or Spinazzola to create a scoring opportunity, it wasn't planned as a team tactic. It's fine when you have these players (and Pellegrini) in form and able to create opportunities. If not and with an opponent that pressures you highly, the game gets pretty ugly and boring. Mourinho is a great motivator, but without big names he can't win leagues or reach top CL levels. As long as the owners are willing to pay, fine by me. Personally I still prefer Spalletti as the bes coach Roma had since Capello and Liedholm. Mourinho still hasn't proved himself in the league.

When Maradona died José told english reporters he only used to call him when he lost important matches to remind him he was the greatest manager in the world. He never called when he won. That's what I call a true G. :)

Se guardando semplicemente il riassunto della partita, in quei 3 minuti scarsi, mi vengono i brividi, non é per la temperatura esterna, non fa freddo, ne tantomeno la mia temperatura corporea, non ho la febbre. Se ci sono è perché si sente, si percepisce, si prova qualcosa. Non riesco ad immaginare chi ha visto per 90 minuti più eventuale recupero, la partita. Sono contento, ma non per il risultato 7 goal, che verosimilmente, spalmandoli per una settimana, sono un goal al giorno. Sicuramente i goal sono frutto di una settimana di lavoro, vero, intenso, razionale. Eppure segnano anche loro "Mancini, Cristante..." che spesso sono messi alla gogna. Io penso che non c'è cosa più brutta, umanamente parlando, di criticare aspramente una persona, di aggredirla verbalmente, perché non aiuta, perché non serve. Fa sentire un peso addosso che altera l'umore e le capacità di crescita. Bravi tutti, questo vi posso dire, Kristensen per la determinazione, la voglia di fare bene, Paredes per la creatività, Sanches per la puntualità, e posso dire altro per tutti gli altri, ma sarei troppo lungo nello scrivere. Il 7 in questa partita può essere anche un modo per dire "Lorenzo sta arrivando, sta per arrivare, mi riferisco a Pellegrini", abbiamo bisogno anche di te. Tu che sei il capitano di questa squadra.

Una squadra che gioca peggio di chiunque pur avendo una rosa più forte del 75% delle squadre che incontra? Continua ad inneggiare Mourinho, un allenatore che ha messo alla gogna mediatica un anno fa karsdorp, e le cose di spogliatoio lo sanno tutti anche in prima categoria che devono restare li dentro, un allenatore che da sue anni ci fa giocare solo a sportellate senza un filo di movimento senza palla, basta aprite gli occhi se amate la Roma non volete vedere lo scempio della finale dello scorso anno perché io mi sono vergognato di essere romanista mi veniva da piangere a guardare la mia squadra che in una finale invece di buttare il sangue e correre a mille all'ora buttava palla via quasi ae avesse paura di giocarla quella partita, nono Mourinho via subito
