Are you seriously forgetting him calling Wenger a specialist in failure? That was during a press conference too so hardly in the heat of the moment, especially at his big age when he’s a professional manager so he evidently has a calculated mind and doesnt make impulsive decisions. He’s just a manipulator is all. He still knew Wenger was a legend when he said that, but he still said it to cause trouble. And now just because he’s sat down and done some nice interviews it doesn’t really change that. He’ll always have an honest and respectful side that he chooses to sometimes show, and a disrespectful shithousery side that he shows more often when it benefits him. Nothing to do with heat of the moment. Just whatever personality suits him at a given time.
