I had 35.5 hours of natural labour. I asked God what wickedess I did n was paying for lol.. Saturday night to Monday almost midday. N almost 16 years later he is worth each contraction, sleepless night, over full bladder, 80 lbs weight gain, short breath, heart palpation. :-)

Wow, that’s awesome!!! My son was born at home and I find that women really need to share their birth stories. It was my Granny’s stories of home birthing 8 children (a set of identical twin boys)that made me choose that option. It’s an encouragement to other women. I didn’t have any meds. My sisters were there, 2 midwives and my doula. It was a hard and fast labor but beautiful and we let the cord pulse until it stopped. I would do it again if I had to❤️

I've had two natural births in a hospital twelve years apart. I gave birth to my youngest one month ago. I chose not to get any pain medication so I stayed home until my contractions became unbearable... When I finally made it to the hospital I delivered right away. My advice would be to Labor at HOME.

Water birth is common in the UK but we can have gas + air - I had one and the midwives didn't say too much, other than ease up on the gas + air 😂.

Joseline has the highest respect for me when it comes to child birth. We are in an age where people schedule their C section even when they do not need to have it instead of natural child birth. We also use overrated and EXPENSIVE hospitals too. Having a natural water birth on air is one of the best gift a reality star like Joseline can ever give to a superficial world.Yes, she was in pain but note that everyone delivery experience is different. Some have pain for hours and others don't. I hope people look at Joseline and be inspired to have their child the natural way without needles or the hospital. I truly believe a lot of mishaps giving birth in a hospital will be less if you chose natural birth.

Living in the UK we don't have doctor's with us during labour unless there are complications, just our midwife so I'm curious to ask, what does the Dr do while you're in labour?? Because it makes no sense to me. Also, here in the UK we are encouraged to have as natural a birth as possible. Many women deliver using gas and air only. Is this not the case in the USA?

Doctors don’t do anything and they don’t show up until you are actually pushing the baby out. They’re just in the room in case of emergency. As for the natural birth thing, we can’t force anyone to have a completely unmediated birth. Unless there is a medical reason, it’s the moms choice if she wants a epidural. Usually they ask you this before you ever give birth but a lot of the time people don’t actually get the epidural because the nurses wait until it’s too late.

child birth is a beautiful experience..it' all in the mind..when you start thinking of the pain as necessary because every contraction means its bringing your baby a step closer to you, you feel it in a different way...but if you see the pain as something thats negative ( like how media portrays it) then youll most likely feel it that way too...jst my 2cents..but had my 1st baby natural and this kinda mindset really did help me..
