I think it is interesting that Popper admired Kant so much, even though he argued that his epistemology was incorrect. I admire Kant too, because of his discoveries in moral knowledge, but his absolutism led him probably not to criticize his own ethical principles.

In a sort of counterintuitive way, Popper’s criticism of Kant was perhaps the deepest show of respect. He innovated on his ideas, rather than taking them as gospel. Now we should error correct and improve on Popper. I think it fair to say that if we were to stop and no longer improve Popper’s ideas then we would not have taken his message to heart.
