idk, DS1 is too easy, DS2 is too flawed. Bloodborne has so few real bosses and so many of them are parry fests or flailing beasts, DS3 is close but actually really easy if you go back to it... Sekiro and Elden Ring are the only real competition IMO. maybe it should be #3 not #2 but personally I could even understand saying its #1 (in a limited kind of way) given just how good the combat system is. It's hard to overstate the value of combining sekiro style perfect guards and bloodborne rallying on top of having really good animations and tons of creative designs
