@@TheTwiolins Könnte sein. Was ich im Moment spiele, hat mehr Lagenarbeit und Doppelgriffe und das macht es technisch anspruchsvoller. Wobei ich mich meistens auch mit leichteren Stücken schwer tue. Mir fehlt immer das Verständnis für die melodischen Zusammenhänge. Hab leider erst sehr spät mit Geige lernen anfangen können.

Hi Is the piano accompaniment the same for tenor saxophone please? The piece was transcribed for tenor sax, all four movements for Abrsm grade 8 saxophone. Original was for Concert for cello I would like to buy the piano accompaniments for the 4 movements.

Great ! Love it !! I never heard about this student concerto before 😮 Do you know what Grade you should be in to play it ? It's first position only but sometimes first position pieces or trickier to play that you'll think...).

Grade 7, or in Suzuki it is in 6 ALF. It can be played in first position only, but sometimes a position change can help for sound quality ☺️

It sounds like a very good piece to work on tempos and consistency as well as bowing technique. I'm not a fan of studies to improve my technique, I prefer to work that with beautiful pieces 😆.

@@TheTwiolins I received the score and I've started sight-reading it. First page is okay-ish but so far I play much much slower. I had to come back here to remember "what does it sound like again with the right tempo ? 😅 ". But that's exactly what I want to work on, playing allegro, faster passages with a fluid bowing, less bow and good coordination 😄 .
