According to Morgan Heritage (check his interview’ON STAGE) about 80% of Kenyans love reggae and with a population of 47 million your actually looking at more fans than the whole population of Jamaica............In Gambia it is even crazier (watch Buju in Gambia) And in Ghana & Senegal etc...........so I think reggae Artist are long overdue they should have repatriated to Africa long time ago

Africa is the second home of reggae and dance, there's no other continent that consumes Carribbean music than Africa,I remember when busy signal visited Malawi ,the show was epic too we received him like he was a visiting head of state,90 percent of Jamaican artists would fill up Africa's big venues easy

The crowd simply took over the show....must have meant alot to Puppa "Culture" Hill. You gotta love Kenyans and their love of Reggae music. My namesake and hero did not regret naming his son Kenyatta.

Incomparable vibes in these videos from Kenya! Sound system looks ready to run a small nightclub. Meanwhile the crowd is large enough to fill a World Cup finals stadium...singing every word...going ballistic when J. Hill wheels up the tune! Brings back sweet memories of shows I saw, but can only imagine the vibes at that gig!

Proof that reggae survives only because of Africa. Without African fans, all great reggae musicians would be forced to turn to dancehall and hip hop. Long live Afrika!

I've seen Culture play in San Diego at numerous shows with as few as 40 to 300 people at them . He played and sang with the unmatched conviction and energy. Truly a great performer who understood the power of his message. And never gave up, let up or slowed down. Joseph was a lion on stage. He is missed.
