I need to stop becoming emotionally attached to characters that die, my mental health can't take much more of this. Also, the way I looked this show up two weeks ago because I watched it in 2019 and wanted to find where I could re-watch it only to question *everything* when I saw Joseph on the cast list. I have *literally zero idea* how I forgot he's in this because *the second* I saw Enjolras I was in love. Like, he is *the* main guy of the revolution -- *how tf do I not recognize the actor who plays him*

I remember watching the miniseries when it first came out (2019 I think???) and just overall being really impressed by Joseph's acting. Fast forward to watching st4, I realised I found Eddie familiar and after a quick Google search I was just completely flabbergasted that Enjolras could be Eddie and vice versa like his range and talent is insane. It would also make 2 characters played by Joseph Quinn that I cried over a bit too much :)) (btw love your vids!! 💖💖)

Old Man Vicky writes that he basically doesn’t know wtf a woman is. he’s been asked out by tons of girls and he will reject them. he’s widely accepted by scholars and fans of the book as a gay man, which yknow… having a very important character in a classic lit book be accepted as gay is pretty cool in my opinion!.enjolras is frequently compared to gay historical figues: antinous, achilles, orestes, and many more. while we don’t know he for certain requites grantaires feelings for him (that’s canon in all but word, by the way. i believe we’re all on the same page here? yknow… the “you don’t believe in anything” “i believe in you” and the fact the only reason R is in the amis is because he “adored, admired, and venerated enjolras”… aww. and well, THEY DIE HOLDING HANDS!!! HE SAYS “DO YOU PERMIT IT?” AND THEN ENJ SMILES AT HIM AND THEY DIE!! HOLDING!!
