Jimmy Gnecco is maybe THE number one most underrated, talented and kind artists in the history of music.

Saw Ours play in Winnipeg twice - in front of less then a dozen people...He played like there was a stadium in front of him. I have always appreciated his work. Thank you for this interview!

Jimmy is such a stand up dude, I hope he comes down to London, or at least Toronto. Though I'd rather go where the crowds appreciate him.

It breaks my heart knowing he's not selling out stadiums across the globe. I've seen Ours and Jimmy solo like 9 times and it's always amazing.

Ive been an Ours fan since early 2000s and seen Jimmy almost everytime hes visited LA. Tickets for Distored Lullibies this coming Sunday @The Viper. Ive always been fascinated about his path and motivations. This was an excellent window into him as an artist and man. Very revealing and insightful. Thanks for sharing.

I've never heard/seen your podcast before and came just for Jimmy but after an hour and a half of watching this I have to say, you're an amazing interviewer. You interject but it's always relevant or at least funny, and then you always manage to bring Jimmy back right where you stopped him. Even when you manage to sidetrack the discussion and Jimmy starts following you, you say "but wait, let's get back to Rick Rubin and Mercy". Gonna keep watching now, but I just wanted to show some appreciation for how great you are at this

I've seen lots of amazing artists over the years. Only a select few give me goosebumps when they sing live. Jimmy is one of them. Absolutely amazing. Fantastic interview!

Great interview! Great artist! Jeff introduced me to Jimmy during that Feb 97 session that spawned "Haven't You Heard" on Sketches for My Sweetheart the Drunk. I recall Gene Bowen asked Jimmy to bring some of Jeff's gear in, but Jimmy was not Buck's 'roadie'. Up until the time of his death, Jeff was profuse in his praise of Jimmy. Also, Jimmy speaks volumes with what he left unsaid regarding individuals, post Jeff's passing.

This is the most unguarded and open dialog/interview I've ever seen with Gnecco. Excellent and well done. Great work.

I saw MM at Alpine Valley open for Pantera in 97 and he got pelted with balls of sod from the hill. He smashed up the stage and the drums and said “should I paint a target on my chest” and walked off stage. You’re amazing for taking what you did for so long.

Nothing wrong with being republican lol the real ones are solid...but these days the parties are so much more liberal that even a republican isn't the old fashioned definition of a strict boring businessman

Holy Guacamole.....I filmed that Velvet Revolver documentary and knew Jimmy from way back and told him about the Duff / Matt fight....Great Interview !!!! the Matt / Duff fight over Jimmy starts around 17:15 kzbin.info/www/bejne/n4XbZJ6llpZkjLM although, we edited it to feel more general than specifically bringing up Jimmy in the documentary ....since he never actually audtioned at the time but they were definitely fighting over Jimmy

Really good times. You’re a really good guy to talk to. Very tender and amiable.🤎 Thank you for this happy journey. Thank You and Jimmy for this dedication. It finally sense some bit of actual like a down to earth human.(the past only have some ‘Looking across the mountain’ like interviews). live in strong conscious, Open-mindedness, be good to myself & others, 🌟embodying olympic spirit, pushing and acing to the peak level of consciousness that a human possibly can. And true to personal artistic sense. Really kind human being. It just sense too strange to be real. Too idealists to be in this world_ But Why not?? We’re real. Thank you for providing this chance and flowing this good journey. wanna know more about how these incredible rare looks human interacting and feeling the world.
