The distinction between the dialects, accents, of Oldman's characters is remarkable. Dracula, Drexl Spivey (True Romance), Shelly Runyon (The Contender), Winston Churchill, a s George Smiley (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy). Oldman is truly a chameleon. Swiss Army Knife of Actors.

Later people did it better, but Oldy was one of the first great English actors who could pull off a decent American accent. Legends like Anthony Hopkins, John Hurt and Ian McKellen couldn't do it.

I knew of him, but I didn’t put two and two together and lately I realize what an amazing actor he is I was just poo poo in it and I heard him say I’ve traveled oceans of time to find you and the everyone and that other character that gets killed byChristian Slater the pimp just amazing. I have so much respect for him. I wish I had been more savvy about him earlier.
