However, potential downturns are part of the economic cycle, and laws are in place to manage defaults and asset seizures. @@Venom-x7tThat's BS, TSMC being cautious rn along with the other companies running fabs is in no way related to them not needing any further machines or upgrades. EUV is farrr from maturing and that's a good thing for ASML. There's lots of room to grow and their 1b€ they spend on R&D every quarter surely is good for something. Their machines are constantly improving and being upgraded. High NA EUV is just being rolled out, resolution is improving, accuracy, efficiency and of course also theoughput. DUV is also still improving in throughput to over 300WPH, in accuracy and is being made more compatible with other photolithography and wafer fabrication operations, they called it holistic lithography. Computational lithography is also becoming more important, and even machine learning is applied to improve performance. And do we even have to talk about their foothold as a monopoly in photolithography? Just their supply chain alone is unmatched. And don't forget, they make money from upgrades and installed base management too and not only from selling a whole machine. So my judgement is, they will be fine, tons of room to grow and improve their products still and I don't think anybody believed that chip demand is gonna slow down anytime soon.

The stock market and economy at large over the last 15 years was a result of 8+ trillion dollars in FED Quantitative Easing. I find it highly and mathematically unlikely the FED will do that again. When QE was launched en masse back in 2008 inflation was not a problem. There was actually some minor deflation occurring at the time. If the FED were to restart QE again under current conditions, and drive real yields on bonds deeply negative once again, the FED will quickly find itself the exclusive buyer of all government bonds. The Federal deficit is around 2T a year but the Federal government is rolling over maturing debt meaning there are 7+ trillion dollars worth of UST sales per year. There is zero way the FED can print and buy 7 trillion dollars worth of government debt every year without causing double digit inflation.... ... ASML is truly a unique company, holding a near-monopoly on EUV technology that drives innovation across industries, especially during the AI revolution. Without EUV, there would be no advanced fabs-meaning no NVIDIA GPUs or Apple’s M4 chips. Their technology is easily 20 years ahead of any competition ( a critical player in the semiconductor supply chain). Just drawing a blank atm, but it was the pandemic or Suez Canal Blockage by that ship disrupting global supply chain, that caused ASML’s stock to drawdown quite a bit. I remember getting greedy and wanted even cheaper by selling puts , but it got away with small gains, missed the rally up to nearly $1,200. So I decided to finally jump in and plan to hold it long-term on recent short sighted downturn. Their guidance sees AI growth, but not so much of the other growth (Duh!) :) :) I’d really love to see you take a position here and cover it as part of your portfolio. I’m a regular viewer of your channel and truly appreciate your diligence in analyzing great companies. Admittedly, I do have an ulterior motive-I’d enjoy seeing your insights and ongoing updates on this stock as part of your fantastic content!

It's not highly exposed. TSMC is highly exposed... While ASML is exposed a fair bit, it's nothing insurmountable in the longer term. TSM has potentially much bigger problems making it a bet more than an investment (though I love the latter and think it the finest business on the planet). Anyway the supply chain argument doesn't matter long term, no other company can do what ASML can do... none. One thing missing from this video is their ownership of patents. ASML own tens of thousands of patents, a huge amount and for the smallest things in the machines. Their machines are not just technologically ahead, they are legally decades ahead too.

Your videos are outstanding. Old head on young shoulders. Well thought out. Been thinking about ASML for a while and also own GOOG with a view to be adding. This video has convinced me to add more. Thank you. The only concern I have with Uber is of course Tesla, which seems to want to be everything to everyone and whether or not Uber has an enduring technological advantage over Tesla. It’s not something I can figure out in my head. What I do know is I can’t stand Elon Musk and neither do I trust his motives so I hope Uber wins that battle if it becomes one. Thanks again for all your hard efforts.

I have a 3 fund portfolio consisting of 33% S&P, 33% Total stock, and 33% international. I feel a need to focus on complete growth so I went 100% stocks, but does the SP500 and TSM overlap too much to make sense holding both? However I’ve been in the red for a month now. I work hard for my money, so investing is making me a nervous sad wreck. I don’t know if I should sell everything, sit and just wait but watching my portfolio of $450k dwindle away is such an eye -sore.

there are tons of cool stocks in different industries to watch. You don't have to act on every forecast. I suggest teaming up with a financial advisor who can help you pick the right times to buy and sell the stocks or ETFs you're eyeing. They can give you some solid advice to make smart moves.

That's awesome to hear! Having a skilled advisor to guide your day-to-day investment decisions, especially with their expertise in long and short positions, risk management, and access to exclusive information, can really make a difference. It's no surprise you've seen such impressive returns, netting over 2.8 million in over 2 years. Keep up the great work with your advisor!

I'd like to give significant credit to Melissa Terri Swayne who maintains a strong online presence. You can easily find her through a web search. While there are some other individuals worth considering, it may be more challenging to locate them. In addition, She has provided excellent guidance throughout the year.

I don't know about Uber. As Europeans, we mostly have two options now: Uber and Bolt, in which we compare the prices before ordering a taxi. Also, the drivers use both apps and I believe that Bolt is more frequently used in most Europeans countries, at least in Poland and Romania, for which I am sure. Also, you have to take into account that in most European countries the traditional taxi's are developing their own app, which may gain a big marker share. I don't see that much growth in Uber
@aleksanderszczurek86292 ай бұрын
Plus in Europe people.have got actual public transportation like trains that solve all those made up problems on autonomous taxis 😅😅😅😅

Uber and bolt? Never used them. I do use alot of thuisbezorgd or order directly from the restaurant
@valueradar33622 ай бұрын
Ehh Uber will probably eat their market share in time. consider that at the moment, investing in Romania and Poland and such economies would understandably not be a major focus in the bigger picture for Uber right now. They can get vastly better returns elsewhere, I would imagine, but everything I’m saying is projection and speculation.

Tesla's FSD approach is on a totally different level than Waymo's. Scalability and low cost are key. Waymo's current solution scales about as well as you trying to sweap the street with a toothbrush when the competition (Tesla) is using a full-sized street cleaning truck. FSD could still fail, yes, but look at how much it costs Waymo to have 1 car on the road that they acquire from third parties and need to fit with very expensive sensors. Best case scenario a fully-loaded Waymo vehicle will cost about 100,000$ while a Tesla Cybercab will likely cost Tesla slightly less than their current Model 3. So let's place the cost of the Cybercab to Tesla (not to costumers) at around 20,000$. Meaning, from the get go, Tesla can have 5 cars on the road for every Waymo at the same price point. While I think that eventually there will be more than just driveless Teslas on the roads, once their FSD is ready for fully unsupervised driving by being 10x safer than a human, my best guess is that most other OEMs will simply license FSD from them. Given all of this, I see significant hurdles for Uber and Waymo once Tesla gets FSD to well beyond human capabilities and regulatory approval for it.
