It gets money to people who earn it from not actually creating anything or that aren’t really theirs to give or take due to multiple parties in the industries. So it makes sure that some or everything goes to same people and all competition shuts down for decades, like the Rockefeller railroad system. And then there are actually just people funding their business in a changing era. Now business needs to be built online, and businesses before that need to adjust to those needs. So that is why the Weather Channel might have not had them before but they only became needed later. Also because it is always money and businesses want it, and it is way easier to live off people being a subscriber rather than just from ads. It might actually be needed for the business to survive.

Seeing videos like this makes me glad I resisted ever getting TikTok. I know I'm the kind of person that would be super susceptible to the endless scroll of brainrot (a big problem I used to have on Twitter). Over the last year I've done a gradual phase-out of my social media usage, starting by abandoning Twitter for good in July, and in October I made the leap backwards to a dumbphone. I won't pretend like doing this has suddenly made my life and mental health flawless or whatever, but I do feel better and happier for it. Going back to a dumbphone was way easier than I expected it would be.

Was gonna say, the Jason Nash approach to making money online is at least pretty harmless, but you basically said that! It’s kinda like the difference between a hard sell advert (buy this mattress) and a soft sell advert (this mattress is like a fluffy cloud, ooh so comfy). Absolutely love the video, I recently was working away on £17 an hour, one of the lads was a tik tok guy, he was filming us all work without consent, had 2 phones, 1 to film and another to use as an actual phone. He'd fuck off and have convoys on his actual phone and just leave the other one just filming us. As I said we was on 17 an hour, he made like 20p by the end of the day. He had a battle one day and was concerned that if when he won it would hurt the girls feelings.... He didn't win, he was a different person from that day on haha 😂😂😂😂😂 the lad sharing rooms with him said he'd fall asleep with it on and all he could hear all night was random accents talking shit, he said it was like having psychosis or being schizophrenic 😂😂😂

I think this is literally the mass production of media content like an assembly line but the thing about that is you cant really assemble content the same way a car is assembled in multiple specialized steps. However, it doesn't take long to see how desperate they are. How little they have slept. How scared they are of you getting bored. When something has such a huge influence in peoples lifes i tend to ask myself "what value does this add to societal and life in general?" And with KZbin, i do see a value in many ways.
