Build a Model Railroad Layout: Small Details for Big Results!

Welcome KZbin! In this quick video I simple ways to detail a layout using inexpensive supplies and household materials.
First, we take a look at weathering vehicles with a black wash and acrylic paints is quick and easy for removing the toy like shine that distracts from the layout. All vehicles and even people can be washed to add shadows and grime.
Next we turn to weeds which grow everywhere and anywhere. Store bought weeds add a great look to the layout and are simple to use. Another method calls for old paint brushes, which soaked overnight in the desired color and were trimmed and applied with glue.
Finally, trash and debris is simulated with paper, toothpicks, and strips of electrical tape. A wood two rail fence is constructed from toothpicks and stained with acrylic paint.

You can't see anything with those lines plus being in black and white doesn't help. I can't understand why they ruin really good video with that crap!
