Really enjoyed watching you create this piece. Love these larger paintings with more "stuff". Jose, you've gained a lot of knowledge about the business of painting and art in your young years. Wish I'd learned these things a lot earlier! Appreciate you putting it out there for us!

Nice work José ! If I may be so bold, from one painter to another, I think the painting needs more values in the flowers themselves to make them more rounded and also, remember the leaves can go off the canvas to suggest wider space. Your bouquet looks like it's been squeezed into position somehow ie not generous enough... Just a couple of suggestions, hope you don't mind

Have you used other types of knives? If so I am curious what you learned.

I've used just about everything flat. There's alot of knifes out there with different shapes...and I can't wait to try some of them. :)

Hola Jose! Soy yo otra vez!
@JoseTrujillo7 жыл бұрын
Hola Dora, Animo!!! Saludos!!

I love watching your video's! Your outlook, as well as your style of painting is incredible! If I may ask, what do you thin your paint with, and do you thin your pallete before starting? I'm still very new to oil painting and have only painted impasto as I'm unsure how to go about thinning in a timely manner. Thank you 😊
