This will be his 5th straight year of 40+ TDs & 4k+ passing/yards, 4 straight years was already a record, the first time to happen in nfL history, also most TDs in a QBs first 7 years in nfL history & the list goes on.. Best player in ball since 2020

@@jcZo23 Yessir. There's been a lot of noise about Josh's TDs, and you are correct, most in NFL history through a QB's first 7 seasons, but what folks don't talk about is Josh had the most yards gained by any QB for their first 6 seasons as well. For season 7, Josh is already past Peyton for 2nd place and is just 454 yards behind Mahomes for most in NFL history for first 7 seasons, which he can easily pick up in the next 3 games. Most prolific QB through first 7 years of his NFL career in yards gained AND touchdowns scored, and not a single NFL analyst seems to know this. That's nuts to me.

Obviously JA is the talk of the town, and for good reason. I have however found it interesting to hear national media suggest and at times directly state that he has mediocre players around him. A strange notion, considering some of the underappreciate facets of the game, such as the line play, particularly the offensive line which has been elite. This of course leads you to appreciate Buffalo's run game - absent JA running, it is not just James Cook being VERY good, its also Davis and Johnson. On D, Benford and company make plays and I think Milano's return may require some patience, but I'm looking for that defense to get back into their groove in these final 3 games, as they have a prime opportunity to do so leading up to the playoffs. Maybe the pedigree isn't there around him as far as round drafted (maybe it is?), but it not only highlights their performance, but the excellent drafting of Beane. Guys like Mack Hollins, not even drafted by the Bills but an outstanding signing, have been invaluable. And by the way, he was a friggin' PROBLEM yesterday. In every facet of the game, blocking, special teams, chirping, etc. dude got his team fired up and was out there ballin. To me, this is a generational talent at QB having a runaway-MVP season, surrounded by a really really good team.
@mattcannon733422 сағат бұрын
I love this. Buffalo has been a top-3 team from about week 5 onwards, and the narrative is JA is doing everything himself. On the flipside, the narrative against Lamar is that his team is better, and his pieces are better? Maybe at the skill positions, but their offensive line and coaching went through extreme turnover and largely has impacted the effectiveness of Baltimore's team. Their team has a bottom-2 special teams and bottom-2 pass defense this season. Baltimore also boasts the second-leading rusher, yet Lamar is STILL leading the league in rush-plus-pass yards. Isn't it MORE impressive that Lamar leads the league without that additional ~1,500 yards gained by DH? Fact patterns and stats can be twisted to fit any narrative, however I believe Lamar is hands down MVP this year. JA is incredible in his own right, but he isn't running away with MVP by any stretch, other than media bias and recency bias (he's been the best over the past 3 weeks).
@dsmangamaster18 сағат бұрын
@mattcannon7334 i think it has more to do with DH being in the mvp convo for a good chunk of the year. If you got two people on one team that are potentially mvp's, it takes away from both of them

Excellent take, Trevor, on the onside kick. It was a savvy, clever move that showed awareness of the game script and situation - and it was simply ruined by the extremely rare outcome of Hollins getting a perfect bounce and running it back to the 5 yard line. Great play calls get ruined all the time by tipped passes, perfect punchouts and one guy making a great play to wreck it. Bills did that all day - so many great catches on balls that weren't quite on target, while the Lions had the onside kick and multiple drops or passes that were an inch off the mark. That's football, especially when played by two of the best offenses we've seen in a decade.

I can't take this show seriously and it's sad because Trev is awesome.
@eca20758 сағат бұрын
On-sides kick was the right call - Bills scoring either way. This at least gave the Lions a chance to steal a possession. Also, when you look at it from a time management perspective, it saved the Lions time (Bills only had to go 5 yards), which was becoming a bigger factor as the game went on. Lions still just lost by 1 score, so they were keeping pace.
@christophercole811417 сағат бұрын
The Bills had several starters out on defense and held the highest scoring offense in the NFL to 14 points until the start of the 4th quarter. These jokers then go onto say "Their defense isn't good." The Bills defense has been very solid all year long without Matt Milano, with Von Miller suspended four games and with a plethora of new starters that weren't last year. What does PFF actually do because I'm not sure it's watch football.
@tjsumigray224 сағат бұрын
Thank you Chris. I got angry listening to this clown. The Amon-Ra TD should have been picked - one of the reasons Goff graded so poorly - and Goff dropped back 60+ times. He also stated "the Bills have noone good on defense besides Greg Rousseau. What an absolute loser and it's a shame because Trevor is extremely bright.
@MrGobluebilly23 сағат бұрын
Goff was fantastic - almost 500 yards 5 tds and no turnovers. Hard to believe he graded out as one of his worst performances of the year. Counterintuitive. He brought them back several times, including 2 tds in the first half.
Its a classic kirk cousins/ Dak manuever, your team is losing by so much the defense drops back and you rack up a ton of yards throwing underneath or into soft coverages.
@usnairframer21 сағат бұрын
@@Right_Brain_byron He literally brought them back to within 6 points and an onsides kick from a chance to win. Your argument is invalid. By that logic, Josh Allen should have been graded poorly last week. GTFO

Agreed with what the other two folks are saying. The majority of Goff's stats started with 5 minutes left in the 3rd Qtr. Up to that point Goff was: punt, punt, TD, TD, missed fg, punt, fumble. The Lions were down 3 scores. So then the Bills conceded underneath stuff to allow the clock to run.

The main point of the story was the guy who spoke first. We put the f****** gas to the pedal and we kept going. The coach for the Lions Dan Campbell made a great decision it just didn't work out it was a great move you weren't stopping us I would have done it again the goal was to keep you to 3 anyway but if you get down to the 3 yard line you only we going to get seven it was just unfortunate besides that we just played them from the start I knew the game was over after the 3 and out we went down and got a touchdown

As a Western New Yorker, I think you guys can hype up this team all you want but people from Buffalo know better. Until and unless the Bills are leading 49-7 in the 4th quarter of a Superbowl, with 00:01 on the clock, its just another season. Yeah, its fun and good for raking in some coin along the way but, with this defense, a Superbowl appearance would be nice but we all know that defense wins Superbowls and Buffalo's defense couldn't stop a renegade tumbleweed right now.

If it's just who has slightly better stats how did Lamar win mvp last year when allen was better at pretty much everything? This year the stats are close with jackson having the slight edge, but jackson has a top tier running back and better receivers this year, and allen has been pulled for several games as the bills have had multiple blow outs. More importantly, Allen has beaten both of last years super bowl teams, ended the chiefs undefeated run and the only team to beat them, and just ended the lions ten game winning streak. Jackson lost to the chiefs, and he lost to toilet teams like the raiders and lol the browns. And there is no question Allen carries the bills far more than jackson carries the Ravens. Allen is mvp this year and its not close, and he should have won it last year too.

6:53 the Lions had just held the Bills offense to a field goal on the position prior lol that shows 0 belief in your defense if they held them to 3 points and you still decided to go with a onside kick that has a 6-7% chance of working. 😅
@desert_sky_guy22 сағат бұрын
They didn't ONLY go for the onside kick trying to get the ball - they also were ok with giving the Bills the ball at 50-to-plus-45 because if they did score (like they were at will), the Lions would get the ball back quicker. Normally it's not good to give them that much yardage, but when you can't stop them anyway, avoiding a 15-play, 70-yard drive that kills 10 minutes and ends the game is a good thing.

Obviously the Lions injuries on the season are worse but Bills also had 3 of their 4 secondary out this game and then ended up with a 3rd string LB for a while.
