I can't get enough of his music. I've recently discovered this artist from someone's play list. I think he's my new favorite Christian singer. If you haven't watched his getting started documentary you should. What a sweet spirit him and his wife has 🐞🐞🕊️🕊️

I'm giving this "another" spin now.... some 7 years after it originally came out.... and my opinion hasn't changed. While I adored "Love & War & the Sea Between"..... adored.... this one.... meh. I actually hated it the first time, and this time... I find it mediocre at best. Love & War was a superlative release, ground breaking and stunning start to finish. It challenged me and inspired me to hope. This one..... gives me nothing to hang on to, presents me nothing that catches my attention.... in short, it falls flat on it's face. I know I am probably an unpopular opinion... but it's just the way of it. Josh hit a home run with Love and war... and followed it up with a foul ball into the bleachers..... going nowhere, doing nothing.

yes, that would be unpopular amongst the appreciative.... you see there is none other on the music scene with the talent and the heart to represent The Ancient of Days like this...none can compare...so who do you know that puts his cataloge of music out for free or whatever you can afford...I remember Keith Green at last days ministries in E,Texas did it when I was a youngun...no one could criticize him because there was no one like him....Josh is the dude of the hour..

@@phrankiebeigh5505 Funny that you should mention Keith Green --- you see, Keith, he actually backed EVERYTHING up with scripture. There wasn't a line of his music that wasn't, or that didn't, reflect truth FROM THE BIBLE. His music wasn't pithy stories of his personal life (Save for "Song to my parents (I really wanna see you there)") Sadly, Josh doesn't do this. He pulls from other sources which, truth be told, oftentimes gives a FALSE view of God --- understandible since the source writers DID NOT KNOW HIM. God revealed himself ONE PLACE, and Jesus, himself, sanctified that thought when he said "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by EVERY WORD that proceeds from the mouth of God". Looking at non-Christian sources for tidbits about God is more akin to going to a cesspool and looking for clean water. Like I said... "Home", falls flat when you dig in. Meh. Nothing there. Just the way of it. And as for Josh being the "man of the hour"... other NON-Christian bands give their music away, that doesn't make them saints.

@@BethelAbba true enough about Keith..he wasn't the only imperfect musician to share his love for the Father with all the world..Rich Mullins comes to mind. Larry Norman another and my all time favorite, Mark Heard. See if you can disparage them cause they were imperfect cosmic pedestrians...

Well it's a pity you didn't keep your opinion to yourself, you could obviously see from other comments that Josh is very much appreciated and you could have kept your negative comment to yourself and just decided not to listen, he didn't ask you to listen. Sounds like you are just a sour puss to me, complaining just to complain.
