A good man, don't think he's capable of giving less than 100%. It is evident in the Tiny Desk, completely and totally in character. Every syllable spoken and sung are crystal clear and his generosity and absence of ego towards every other performer is clear.

What an amazing voice Josh has…I love him!!! But, in 2007, a young teen named Ed Sanders cannot be matched for being Toby and his rendition of “Not While I’m Around”…what a voice in that young man…I wish that there was more of him to be found!!!

Was it really 20 years ago? I've spent a lifetime in and around music, dance and theatre and with a wide variety of favorite genres. I remember being in Sam's in Toronto, and picking up that CD. I often had a knack for "knowing" great talent, while not owning a tv or being otherwise influenced. It's the reason why I bought Andrea's first CD on sight "Romanzia". Well I just had to buy a 2nd one for the cottage, and Josh's music has meant so much to my life. I would put the CD on and go for a late night canoe or swim, and hear Josh's voice out into the bay, along with moon, stars, loons and owls. One of the greats!!

Aaron Tveit and Sutton Foster are taking over Sweeney and Lovett. After he might audition for other roles or could just go back to music. Sweeney was his first Broadway appearance since The Great Comet so he's not exactly a regular.
