Its going to be another fun year and y is that because we have josh huepel leading these young men has brought us out of the depths of hell to contenders again and studs are finally wanting to play for Tennessee again THANK YOU GOD

Lol we couldn't even beat Florida. The team is trash and it's going to be *years* before we're a serious contender (last year was due solely to Hooker's Heisman ability and the spread offense being a surprise, so let's not even go there).

Why are they just letting him sit on the sidelines with his helmet on wanting to play really badly and not letting him get even mop-up duty? The fans are dying to see him and I would love to see him get some experience kind of like how Joe Milton, got to do airing it out looking good at the end of games looking good at the end of games last year.

Agreed, but the problems are much deeper than Milton: Bad o-line play, a Charmin soft defense, poor coaching, and Haddon needs to be released from the team yesterday. We need to fire Martinez ASAP, demote Banks to D-line coach, and tell our new OC that there are more than 4 plays we can call. But of all the issues I saw yesterday, the most concerning was the "missed tackles" on the Gators 62-yard TD run in the 1st quarter... because that softness and lack of grit/anger is 100% a coaching problem and hasn't improved one bit since Heupel took over (I think it's actually gotten worse). I'd rather see backups who play with tenacity and rage than a bunch of weak starters who are afraid to get hurt. Tough times ahead for this program.

Im still waiting on some resemblance of a defense. This man can take average players on offense and make them look better than they are. What about the defense, after all thats what wins championships

regressing? his film looks excellent. he clearly has the intangibles, football IQ and an internal clock that Milton doesn't possess. If our WRs pan out next year and Mays returns at center we have a chance to be really good actually like last year. Imagine this year 's team with last year's offense. despite what the naysayers say, we are greatly improving on defense and special teams. willie Martinez needs to go though. i actually like Banks and his aggressive blitzing schemes and we usually make decent adjustments at the half. Our dline has been very good of late. Martinez is the weak link. losing Hadden at CB really hurt too as well.

Everybody that doesn't like the current starting position at quarterback go back and watch the game versus Clemson in the bowl that's right it was Joe Milton go back and watch a bunch of games all the sudden you're seven and two number 13 in the country and people hate you? It's going to affect how you play if you're an emotional person Nico has years left he will get in there and be great but right now it's time to focus on tuning in Joe Milton's past game protecting him and backing him up as a volunteer I believe in this coaching staff I believe in this team and I believe we will win a great bowl game and have an outstanding season next year go Vols
