Behold, two of the funniest fuckers on the planet. In conversation. Joshua Homme as you know is the frontman of Queens of the Stone Age aka the sickest rock’n’roll band ever created in the last few thousands years or so.
Their new album ‘Villains' is about to drop on the 25th August and we wanted to talk to him so we asked comedian, writer, ex-VICE columnist and QOTSA-superfan Rob Delaney to ask him about it.
He did a bit but also they discussed having 3 children, George Carlin, The Handmaid’s Tale and ZZ Top.

micheal shuman was the first bass player i ever knew that carried entire bands. he was kind of reggae like that, but full on rocker, the last time i ever saw him i was taking a piss next to him at alex bar in long beach right before wires on fire played and he told me he got the queens gig playing bass for josh while we were litterally standing at the urinals pissing. i never even got to shake his hand while i congratulated him. i shook the piss off the tip of my dick instead. for me it was a big deal because queens had already been one of my favorite bands for several years and mike played bass for my drummer in his other band jubilee. he was the first dude that i knew as just one of the dudes that made it in music by joining a band that to me was one of my top six of all time. its like he might as well joined the beatles or nirvana. to me it was that huge of news. ill never forget that. last time i saw him. so far anyway.
