She is a pioneer and its a shame she is all but forgotten and she herself has seemingly lost interest in keeping the memory alive. She still has the talent!

Love this song! It's one of my favorites! Also smaller in ears are easier to use with the aviom system I like to keep one ear open to the house mix and the other to the in ear, they are better then those big bulky studio headphones and they don't look so awkward. (most worship teams know what I'm taking about when I say aviom)

I have been trying to find information about this singer (Lisa Lopez). There doesn’t seem to be a whole lot of information about her other that quite a number of videos on KZbin of a 1980-90’s pop singer by the same name - and appears to favor this woman quite well. Is this the same woman? I’m just curious if she has converted to Christian music or if it is just part of a wider repertoire.

Yes...its the same singer. She was recording music in Spanish in the late 70s/early 80s way before Spanish music in USA was even a marketable genre (Billboard didnt even track Latin tracks until 1986) and she Seemed to have disappeared after recording her last Spanish album for Sony in 1993. Now we seem to have pieces of a puzzle that she became a Christian singer. Why?? hopefully shell come out and talk about it someday. I love her Spanish ballads. Her voice was a cross between Cyndi Lauper and Amanda Miguel.

Rock concert? No no it's not within the church the worship service will in fact determine the delivery of God word. There is nothing wrong with traditional songs don't get me wrong, but lets face it, as a younger person my generation is being lost. You do have to pull on peoples emotions and songs as MOVING as this great song here will do that. This song is far from a rock concert I'm sorry to bust your bubble.
