It's not like you guys did it as personal favors, but thank you both so much for the memories of a time when life was great. They just start having so many issues that it's kind of impossible for them to take care of themselves in a normal day-to-day routine. Why is that wild? It makes perfect sense to me as a sober man now since 2012. Anyone who sees the bright white light of sobriety despises and loathes their former selves is able to see how insane they were when they were in short just committing suicide in what the addict thinks is a strategic way again because the addict is insane and believes his drug fueled insane thoughts. I could see why Steve O is so militant due to the fact unlike most addicts we don't have clips of how stupid we were where Steve O does. I could actually see Steve o going down in history not for his drug fueled insanity but being able to show people that if he can get sober anyone can and that is way more important than anything he represented in the past
@OG-GHOST2
@OG-GHOST2 Жыл бұрын
Your comment exposes one level of that drug fueled insanity. He was looked at more when he was abusing drugs and destroying his body so to care more about what others think he should keep abusing substances while at the same time destroying his body and mind all because it would equal more people would accept him and favor him

Hearing these crazy stories and all those changes for a more hopeful future allows me to Reflect on the past and how crazy things were and how we're all striving to get a better future. to hear these in depth talks about sobriety with celebrities are a great way to see the humanity in these larger than life figures its connecting in a wholesome way and the non judgmental platform from steve allows for a deeper uderstanding into the motivations and life of each guest ive seen. thanks a mil for posting all these. What you mean you meam it's hard to talk about recovery & u don't shy away from it? Every video I see of you steve you talk about it and that's a positive thing. Never be ashamed or " weirded out " about that shit. 1, you ALWAYS talk about recovery. And 2, That's not a bad thing either! 😂 🤷‍♂️

When I first moved to Seattle I became an alcoholic and listened to Curious while playing Spiderman to cope with life. The advice from the show helped me a ton and now I'm gonna become a comedy writer and actor five years later while prepping for recovery. This is a layered listen for me at 26 lol

Damn, you can really tell how embarrassed he is of his drug use. He doesn't even reference ever doing any or what type. Even tho steve is prodding him about it the whole time lol
