The way you ride this shows how durable it is. Giant give this man a raise he is single handedly selling a bunch of bikes for you!

I was waiting for this new Revolt. Great bike with perfect geometry for me but I wish they put an UDH hanger instead of flip-chip on this frame. It's 2024 Giant!!!

I'm wondering if there's any way to put a UDH adapter instead flipchip. There's a lot of space!

I have a revolt as well and mine creaks too. I have checked everywhere. Seat post, bb, crank, pedal, rd, chain but I can't just find where that creaking sound comes from but I will give the flip chip a go as Nic pointed out that it is the source of your creaking sound. Hopefully that's the case for me as well. Oh btw, I love the colorway of your Revolt.

Try the headset, if you haven't already. Don't ask how I know. Cheers good luck.
@JohnSalamat2 ай бұрын
@@garysladek9110 thanks but i have tried it before and no go. It was still creaking. It was not the flip chip that was noisy but the hanger. It was loose. Tried tightening it but after just a few shifts, it starts wiggling again. I had it replaced and now my bike is no longer creaking. I wouldn't have found out if i did not checked the flip chip so technically this video still helped me in some way.

Have a lower end Revolt 2 Advanced and love it for its comfort with a few upgrades. Changed the handlebar to a Pro PLT Ergo with that wing shape, similar to the Redshift addons. Super comfy on long rides. Mine came with a FSA crankset with cranks that were too long. Switched the BB to Wheels MF and a GRX with shorter cranks. Might get a 2nd wheel set for audaxing at some point. Think I will ride this bike until I can't ride no more, and then I will still look at it. It is also a great looking bike, at least to my eyes.

I have a 2021 Revolt Advanced Pro and gave it the Cadex treatment with wheels, bar and seat, it's a real weapon and lighter than my road bike even with the 45mm Reavers. That said I really want the new frame set, only thing putting me off is the supposed seat post issues, not sure if that's real or not but it does concern me as the one I have now is faultless.

I've got my 2022 Advanced Pro frame swapped due to the well known seat tube issue after about 1 year of moderate use, no off-road. Anyway, Giant's warranty claim is easy and quick!

I ride a 2020 Revolt first gen, converted it to an alroad bike, with 32mm GP 5000 STR, it weighs under 8kg with XTR pedals, 2 bottle cages, Garmin mount. 3rd tier non-Pro frameset, with mix of GRX 600/800. Rides super comfortable on shity tarmac, we have, and has 95% of the speed of my Aeroad or even faster on bad roads.
@scottwatson78443 ай бұрын
@@Gianniz27 That's interesting as most of the Cadex kit is all road so we've done pretty much the same sort of thing. I've also just ordered a pair of Conti GP5000 in a 35mm. they are the all season tyres want to see how they perform over the winter on a different wheel set and see how much speed I can gain over the Reavers.

The colour frame is absolutely lovely. I was thinking was the colour of 2023-2024 with no integrated cables... did you do it after? Or it is the new model? Thx.

I like that the sten is normal to be able to ride the one that best suits the cyclist’s taste but it’s a shame that it has press fit. I do not understand how they can still make bicycles with this system.
